Dear Friends:

Aloha. I would like to give you an update on Operation Aloha Obama II and our dramatic movie project "Obama: the Hawai'i Years."

There is a growing awareness both in Hawai'i and nationally that we are engaged in a significant historical project. During the campaign Obama downplayed his Hawai'i roots and claimed he was "from Chicago." In a pragmatic sense, that's true. But Obama's character was formed before he left Hawai'i for the mainland to attend Occidental College in Los Angeles.

Both the mainstream media and his sycophants have ignored Obama's Hawai'i years. Psychologists agree the pre-teen and teen years are very significant stages in adult development; they were the crucible in which much of Obama's identity was formed. That's why our research teams have focused on Hawai'i.

Last week we ran a highly successful first round of local advertising in Honolulu to look for new sources of information. Depending on the availability of financial support, we will run more ads. The ads are designed to elicit information that may have been overlooked by others. Because of my reputation for lawyerlike thoroughness, even our competitors are closely watching our pre-production activity for the Obama movie.

Now for your first work assignment. What, you thought it was just going to be sit back and watch? No way.

We will begin locking in our script in stages by May 9th. But we are opening a window for you to participate in and contribute to the script-writing process.

Ask yourself: what would you like to see in the Hawai'i movie? What interests you? What do you especially feel may have been overlooked by the "mainstreamers?" You should even reread Obama's great novel (no, not an "autobiography") "Dreams From My Father" and see what you think was critical to him. Or what did he conceal? Send us your thoughts. Our film is a collaborative, open source project. People are welcome and invited to contribute their script ideas. Send us yours.

Just remember: when we deal with facts, we deal with facts. We don't want the "Obama is made of green cheese and was born on the moon" type of stuff. While no one has actually seen his 1961 birth certificate, he grew up there from the age of 10 and came into adulthood in Hawai'i. This movie is going to have credibility precisely because it will strive for accuracy. That doesn't mean we won’t be argumentative or combative about Obama's own presentation of reality; we will, of course, challenge his "novelization" of his family history. But we will strive for accurate facts.

So get to work. You have this week to come up with reactions, suggestions and proposals before we lock in our final script. The team gets on the plane to Honolulu in just five days!

You too can be a part of a historic movie about a significant person in American history. Whether you love Obama (few of my readers are in that category) or loathe him, or worse (the majority of my audience), I know you will appreciate our effort to dig for the truth and get at the facts about Mr. Obama. Coincidently, that is what Obama has always feared about my research and writing: I reject Obama's fictionalizations and always look for the "man behind the mask." My own analytical and unemotional approach mirrors Obama's own personality. He doesn't like that, which is why I get under his skin.
