ANDY MARTIN: Sunday “Bunker Buster” may provoke Mark Kirk confrontation

Illinois corruption fighter Andy Martin told a Chicago news conference Friday that he has advised Chicago Police to be on the alert for possible campaign violence by supporters of closeted congressman Mark Kirk. Kirk will be holding an event Sunday; Martin will be outside protesting. Martin also plan to holds a “Bunker Buster” news conference and make new disclosures about Kirk’s “private” life at Joe’s Bar. “Mark Kirk is a disgrace to the navy uniform, and a disgrace to the Republican Party,” Martin says. “All are welcome to show their disgust with Republican efforts to promote Kirk as a macho military man. CPD ASSISTANCE AT PICKETING OF POLITICAL EVENT

Dear Superintendent Weis:

I want to give you a “head’s up” on a political demonstration I will be staging on Sunday evening. I assume there is a public sidewalk outside Joe’s Bar but there may be close quarters. Given recent desperate acts of violence by isolated Republicans, and Colonel Ray True’s Internet recording which claims Mark Kirk’s is surrounded by a praetorian guard, there is always a potential for violence on Kirk’s part at Joe’s Bar.

Because I will also be holding a “Bunker Buster” sidewalk news conference outside Joe’s and making blockbuster disclosures about Mr. Kirk’s sexual orientation, Mr. Kirk’s thugs may be in a mood to retaliate.

I will be completely peaceful. I am completely committed to nonviolent resistance.

As always, your officers can be assured of my full cooperation. We plan to have a power megaphone (bullhorn) to use and we will do so consistent with any instructions from your officers.
