Andy Martin will hold a Chicago news conference today to state that it is time for Mark Kirk to step down as a U.S. Senator. Andy says Kirk’s disability makes him unable to engage in the taxing role of a U. S. Senator. “Mark Kirk is a ‘Potemkin Senator,’” Andy says. “He is being propped up by his staff, and by Democrats that know he has become a reliable vote for liberal Democratic policies. There would be no shame for Kirk to acknowledge that he has been the victim of a serious illness can make a ‘recovery’ but still be unable to handle the stress of public office representing millions of people. Kirk’s proposal to arrest almost twenty thousand African-American men and to implicitly hold them in a vast concentration camp harks bark to the darkest days of Apartheid in South Africa. Kirk has expressed racist sentiments in the past. He has to go. Alderman Carrie Austin had it right: Kirk’s stroke has affected his judgment - or exposed his lack of it.”

(CHICAGO) (June 5, 2013) Corruption-fighter Andy Martin will hold a news conference today, Wednesday, June 5th, to suggest that it time for Mark Kirk to step down due to his inability to properly function as a U. S. Senator.



“Mark Kirk has always expressed racist views, contrary to his latest protestations on Tuesday,” Andy says. “He called African-Americans ‘thugs’ and ‘goons’ in 2006 and 2008. Maybe Mark has forgotten he earlier remarks; I have not. There are on a web site (see www.markkirk.us link below) below. I documented Kirk’s racism in the 2010 primary. The media covered up for Kirk, the same way Clarence Page and Lynn Sweet are ‘covering’ for Kirk today (see links below).



“Now Kirk is proposing a vast Apartheid-style concentration camp for twenty-thousand African-Americans. Where would ‘Kirk’s Gulag’ be located? Kirk suggests dumping the prisoners in Western Illinois. Who would bear the cost? Obviously Kirk misspoke, because his recent stroke sometimes compels him to blurt out what is on his mind.



“Can you imagine what 20,000 new criminal cases would do to the federal courts? Or Cook County? What would State Attorney Alvarez say to that? Federal judges would have to create a Guantanamo-in-Illinois to hold 20,000 African-American prisoners. Kirk is not only an incompetent senator, he is an incompetent lawyer. He makes crazy suggestions without realizing the impact of his proposals on the real-world judicial system.



“Mr. Kirk suffered a horrible medical event. He has my sympathy. I have kept a relatively low profile on my criticism for the past fifteen months. There would be no shame for him if he admitted that he has made a strong ‘recovery’ but that his recovery is not sufficient to allow him to hold down the very strenuous job of U. S. Senator. Today Kirk is a ‘Potemkin Senator’ who is propped up by his staff, and manipulated by liberal Democrats such as Senator Dick Durbin.



“Kirk’s views do not represent either Republicans or the vast majority of Illinoisans who have been impoverished by Democratic Party thievery and profligacy.



“At a time when Republicans are trying to recruit African-American voters, Kirk is proposing to imprison them in a vast Gulag. Kirk’s remarks were sheer lunacy. We don’t need Kirk’s kind of ‘outreach.’ Kirk’s limp-wristed attempt to walk back his Apartheid remarks in a meeting with Representative Rush was not sufficient.



“Kirk needs to issue a public apology for his unvarnished racism, and he needs to start focusing on real solutions, which he is physically incapable of doing. I will address the ‘gang problem’ in a column tomorrow.



“It is time for Kirk to go. Kirk simply does not have the physical and mental capacity for the job he holds. There is no shame in my making that allegation, and there would be no shame if he admitted I was right.”

“Tea Party Terminator” Andy Martin says Mark Kirk’s political career is over. Thursday Kirk was weeping to Chicago newspaper editors that he "misremembered" by lying about his military record. “Kirk did not ‘misremember’” Andy Martin says. "He suffers from the psychological disturbance of ‘stolen valor.’ Kirk is still lying.”

Andy Martin ran broadcast advertising across the state of Illinois this past January exposing Kirk’s military frauds. Martin placed letters from the Pentagon on www.MarkKirk.us. “For Kirk to claim he ‘forgot’ his lies is just another line of lying. Kirk lied when he said he was in Afghanistan in January ‘fighting for [Andy Martin’s] rights.’ Mark Kirk has a mental disturbance,” Martin says. “Mark Kirk’s political career is over. He is a closeted gay man that systematically and deliberately lied to Republican primary voters, and was supported by a Chicago media conspiracy of silence.

“It was not until media outside Chicago started exposing Kirk’s lies that Chicago’s corrupt media grudgingly began to tell partial truths about imposter Kirk.” Martin promises to expose more military lies about Kirk and notes Kirk has not yet addressed his bogus claim he was a “CIA agent.”

“WLS-AM’s ‘Don and Roma’ should be run out of town for their lies, misrepresentations and promotion of a military imposter,” Martin says. “Don and Roma have been promoting Kirk-the-imposter to their audience for years, and slighting honesty Republicans in the process.”

(CHICAGO)(June 4, 2010) Chicago crime fighter and anti-corruption crusader Andy Martin will hold a Palm Beach news conference today, Friday, June 4th to claim credit for ending the political career of military imposter/closeted homosexual Mark Kirk.

“Much as the Chicago Tribune and Sun-Times hate to admit it, I took down Mark Kirk,” Martin will state. “Alexi Giannoulias' campaign used my campaign advertising and research as a starting point, and followed through with their own research. I provided the pointers on both Kirk's sexual misrepresentations and on his inflated military career. I filed a DADT complaint against Kirk. It's all out there on my blogs. Kirk can read it and weep.

“I beat the newspapers at their own game, by telling the truth about Kirk while they were lying to their readers. Lynn Sweet, the Sun-Times hack who appears on MSNBC, was a cheerleader for Kirk; she’s now exposed as a complete loser. Kirk had the temerity to tell the bogus Chicago media at the Union League Club in January that he was in Afghanistan ‘fighting for Andy Martin’s rights:’

“What ‘fighting’ did Mark Kirk ever do? He repeatedly claimed to have ‘fought in two wars.’ The man is a complete fraud. Martin created a media firestorm as Chicago media tried to demonize Martin for telling the truth about Kirk in Martin’s radio ads. Martin also documented his claims of military fraud concerning Kirk by posting documents on Martin’s own anti-Kirk web site [www.MarkKirk.us] showing Kirk had never served in Afghanistan.

“For forty-four years I have been fighting political corruption in Chicago and Illinois politics. The only thanks I have received is a continuing smack in the face from the media. Chicago media have lived a lie for the past half century. Media lies keep crooked Illinois politicians in power. Rick Pearson, a creepy writer at the Chicago Tribune, is a Kirk sycophant. Pearson is now disgraced and exposed for his own corruption.

“I have always worked to find the facts, and searched for the truth, and I did so during the 2009-2010 primary election. But when the truth and facts hit Chicago’s airwaves on December 28th, once again media attacked me for exposing Mark Kirk as one of the greatest frauds in American political history. So far, local media have barely played ‘catch-up’ and only scratched the tip of the iceberg of Kirk’s military fraud. Kirk is 100 times worse than Connecticut’s Richard Blumenthal. Blumenthal lied a few times. Kirk lied about his entire career, for over a decade, over and over again, in his congressional materials, his campaign materials, everywhere and in every aspect of his public career.

“When my senate campaign started broadcasting the facts on December 28th, Chicago’s media morons responded by attacking me for telling the truth about Mark Kirk. What losers. If ever there was an ‘I told you so’ moment in American politics, this is it. I warned Republican voters that they were going to destroy the party if they voted for Kirk, but no one wanted to hear the truth. Well, we have more and more and more ‘truth’ about Mark Kirk to come.

“It’s just beginning.

“Kirk’s military fraud and homosexuality are now jeopardizing the entire statewide and local Illinois Republican ticket. I’ll have more to say about that very shortly.

”Ironically, Channel 7 WLS-TV devoted virtually an entire 90-minute broadcast debate in January to allowing its ‘journalists’ to trash me for running ads telling the truth about Kirk. Channel 7's Andy Shaw and Charles Thomas also owe me an apology. I have a copy of the tape. This is one of the greatest media scandals, and media embarrassments, in recent American media history. The truth was out there in the open, and Chicago media attacked the truth and attacked the truth-teller. Is it any wonder the state of Illinois is dying? That ordinary Illinoisans feel betrayed? In Illinois, the media are as crooked as the politicians.

“Ironically, the only one who paid any attention to me was Alexi Giannoulias. His people were quietly observing my campaign from a distance and taking down everything I disclosed about Kirk. Alexi’s people then did their own additional research and verified the truth of my allegations.

“There is a lesson here for Republicans: pay attention to the truth and the facts. Don’t sweep a candidate’s lies under the carpet and expect to get away with it.

“I promised to take down Mark Kirk, and I have delivered. In my opinion, party loyalty does not extend to promoting political fraud. I support the rest of the Illinois Republican ticket but I will see to it that Mark Kirk is run out of politics.

“There is lots more to come of my anti-Kirk campaign.”
