This my second of two reports on our recently concluded investigative trip to Honolulu. Thanks to all of you, the effort was a major success. As the only Obama investigator/critic who has made multiple trips to Hawai'i I can assure you there is no substitute for on-the-scene experience.

Today I report on the way your support for our activity in Hawai'i is changing the perception of Barack Obama's family history.

When we conducted "Operation Aloha Obama" in October 2008 the investigative team in Honolulu was the first to look into Barack Obama's family history. The mainstream media had ignored Obama's Hawai'i years and pretended that Obama was "from Chicago." Obama arrived in Chicago as an adult in his mid-20's. Almost any psychologist will attest that character and identity are formed in childhood years, not in adulthood.

We asked the basic question: who is Barack Obama? There had even been differencing explanations as to where Obama was born. Two hospitals had been identified as his birthplace. How could something as simple as a birth hospital become occluded?

Likewise, way back in 2004 I was the first to raise questions about Obama's family history. It took the mainstream media four years to catch up with me and admit the obvious: "Dreams From My Father" was a novel, not an autobiography. Obama had invented composite characters. No white author could get away with such legerdemain. The mainstream media have never admitted that Obama was raised as a Muslim until the age of ten.

And then there was the question of "Frank." By Barack's own admission, "Frank" had obviously been a critical influence in Obama's formative years. Frank was, of course, Frank Marshall Davis, poet, author, writer, civil rights agitator, and communist.

Based on research we conducted in October, 2008 I announced that it was my belief that Frank Marshall Davis was actually Barack Obamas biological father. Barack Obama, the Kenyan student, had been a stand-in for Davis because Davis was already married to a wealthy woman and had a family.

How was this possible? Families lie about themselves all the time.

CNN made light of the theory, but my analysis has received growing acceptance despite mainstream media censorship.

When we returned to Honolulu in "Operation Aloha Obama II" to film "Obama: The Hawai'i Years," we tested the Frank Marshall Davis hypothesis all over again.

When you plug the Kenyan Obama's name in as "father" in Barack Obama's family tree, nothing makes sense, and nothing adds up. When you substitute Frank Marshall Davis' name, all the pieces of the puzzle fit neatly together. The "dreams" in "Dreams From My Father" were Frank Marshall Davis' dreams. Barack Obama came to Chicago because Chicago was both the residence and spiritual home that Frank had been forced to abandon.

Obama used his control of the New York Times to smear me and intimidate Fox News last year. I am under constant electronic attack by Obamabots. Why are they still so afraid of me? The campaign was over months ago.

But while the campaign is over, the search for the historical truth and our efforts to find the facts about Barack Obama are continuing.

There have been differences of opinion as to how to pursue facts about Obama. After the election there was a flurry of lawsuits challenging Obama's "eligibility." The lawsuits lacked legal or procedural substance. They were too late, often filed in the wrong courts, and presupposed facts that had not been proven or legal principles that did not exist. These lawsuits made Obama's opponents feel good, but they achieved no useful purpose.

On the other hand, I filed suit in Hawai'i, to pry loose Obama's original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate. That is the only starting place to learn the truth about Obama. Obama has prevented disclosure of this document despite its obvious practical importance and historical significance.

Unlike the "hares" that were quick to file lawsuits without evidence, I adopted the role of a tortoise who sought evidence before making accusations. I refused to make arguments that I knew would not stand up in court. There is a vast difference between making a frivolous or fictitious claim that is not supported by facts, and making an arguable claim that seeks to find the facts. I have always focused on finding the facts and telling the truth.

In the process, we have accomplished something that has changed the way researchers and authors will approach Obama's ancestry and parentage in the future. They will have to address the Frank Marshall Davis theory. We have both highlighted the circumstantial evidence connecting Davis to Obama and focused on Davis as the missing link in explaining Obama's character as a committed radical.

There is nothing wrong with continuing to pry into the unknown truths about Obama's past. Scholars are still arguing about who William Shakespeare really was four hundred years ago. We will ultimately obtain an answer through DNA and possibly Obama's own admission when he feels free enough to admit the truth about himself.

So, when we screen "Obama: the Hawai'i Years," we will be presenting both known facts about Obama, for the first time anywhere in a coherent movie format, as well as raising scholarly questions about Obama's true parentage.

Your support and your encouragement are changing the face and pace of historical research about Barack Obama. In the past, Obama has used media sycophants such as David Mendell of the Chicago Tribune to deliver his disinformation. We won't let him get away with that tactic even though he will no doubt seek to manipulate David Maraniss' proposed biography.

I don’t know how soon we will be able to edit the tape, and possibly do some in-fill video, but as soon as we can afford to complete the movie we will release it on the Internet.

This my first of two reports on our recently concluded investigative trip to Honolulu. Thanks to all of you, the effort was a major success. As the only Obama investigator/critic who has made multiple trips to Hawai'i I can assure you there is no substitute for on-the-scene experience.

Today I will report on the progress of litigation and documents. Tomorrow in Part Two of my Report From Honolulu I will discuss the way your support and our activity in Hawai'i is changing the perception of Barack Obama's family history.

In March, thanks to the generous underwriting of a contributor, we paid the State of Hawai'i almost $600 for freedom-of-information documents from Hawai'i state records. (In Hawai'i, the freedom-of-information statute is called the "Uniform Information Practices Act.")

We received nothing from the Hawai'i Attorney General. In addition, materials we received from the Governor's office were grossly incomplete. (Check our blogs for the details of our final demands for records; we posted the full correspondence.)

Last week we were within hours of suing the Governor and Attorney General for obstruction of justice under federal law, as well as local state remedies, when the Attorney General's office called and requested a conference. We met in a civil atmosphere.

The AG's office promised in writing to start providing documents in two weeks. Since that time frame was shorter than results from a new lawsuit, we held off filing suit. The threat of a lawsuit obviously precipitated the agreement. We have a letter in writing from the AG (copy available on request by fax).

We have advised the AG that if the document production is insufficient, or overly broad privileges are claimed, we will go back to court. We have already sued the state once, and we are prepared to do so again if necessary. I told the AG very candidly that we are interested in historical records, not litigation; but if litigation is forced upon us, we know how to sue in the local Hawai'i courts.

I also attended the investiture of a new Hawai'i Supreme Court justice in the Supreme Court's chambers. If time permits I will try to offer some comments on that event.

Finally, on May 24th our brief is due in the Hawai'i Intermediate Court of Appeals in our appeal seeking access to Barack Obama's original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate.

Although there has been a relentless hubbub and commotion about Obama's birth certificate, very surprisingly I am the only person who has ever filed a lawsuit in the proper court against the proper officials seeking access to the original BC. The BC is in the custody of Hawai'i officials. The Hawai'i courts are the only forum with primary jurisdiction over the BC. Why am I alone in suing there?

The bottom line: we are aggressively pursuing historical records in Hawai'i archives concerning Barack Obama's birth.

Ironically, although we are the first to sue for these documents in Hawai'i, no other author can claim to have conducted proper research unless he or she has also sought access. David Maraniss of the Washington Post, for example, is also doing an Obama biography and working in Hawai'i. How can Maraniss claim authoritativeness without access to the 1961 ribbon copy of the BC? How can any writer?

Thus, in seeking access to Hawai'i records, we are the original and established guardians of the truth, and only the truth. I can't promise you we will win the first lawsuit, or the second case if one is necessary, but I can promise you we are in there fighting for the facts.

Breaking News from Honolulu: Obama lawsuit may be averted; meeting scheduled Wednesday

Obama film producer Andy Martin meets with Hawai’i officials today, Wednesday, May 13th in an effort to avoid a lawsuit over delayed disclosure of Barack Obama-related Hawai’i records. Martin is in Hawai’i producing the Internet film “Obama: The Hawai’i Years,” which promises an interesting exposition of the definitive period in Obama’s life. “Very frankly, we would rather avoid a lawsuit if we can; but we are here to obtain documents as part of our historical research project and we are ready to drop a lawsuit on Hawai’i officials if we do not obtain a satisfactory response,” Martin states.

(HONOLULU)(May 13, 2009) Obama author and movie producer Andy Martin, who is in Honolulu producing “Obama: The Hawai’i years,” a blockbuster Internet film offering his theory of Obama’s Hawai’ian family history, will meet with Hawai’i officials today in an effort to avoid a threatened lawsuit over the disclosure of President Barack Obama’s Hawai’i records by state officials.

Martin will hold a sidewalk news conference outside the Attorney General's offices at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, 425 Queen Street, Honolulu.

“We are meeting with a member of the Attorney General’s staff at 1:00 P.M.,” says Martin. “Obviously, we would like to obtain compliance with Hawai’i law without a lawsuit. I am here to produce a movie, not to start litigation if we can avoid it. But we have not received the materials we paid for and were promised. We will try to ‘settle or sue’ today. We don’t know if we will be able to film the meeting at the Attorney General’s office.”

On April 3rd I sent you a letter stating you had failed to comply with the UIPA. I have not had any response to that letter.

On March 11th I faxed you a letter and separately mailed a check for $573.55 to cover the cost of UIPA documents. I have never received any materials. None of my mail has ever been returned, so there is a presumption it was delivered. (I did get an acknowledgement from you that you received the March 11th letter, but nothing since then.)

On April 2nd I sent you a follow-up letter asking for a delivery date. I received no response.

It is now two months since the money was tendered, and there has been no response or documents from your office.

If you would like to have a member of your staff contact me today at my local cell phone in Honolulu (see above), I would be happy to try and resolve this matter without a lawsuit.

Otherwise, I will file suit on Wednesday seeking to compel your office to comply in full and in good faith with the UIPA.

“Both Lingle and Bennett are violating Hawaii’s own state laws.

“Hawai’i may be celebrating its 50th anniversary of ‘statehood,’ but the place is as lawless and unprincipled as a wild west territory. These people do not respect the American people. “I have managed my efforts as a historical researcher on Obama by two polestars: find the facts; tell the truth. Lingle and Bennett do neither.

“They are both violating the Hawai’i Uniform Information Practices Act. I’m here in Honolulu to say that the American people are not going to tolerate Hawai’i lawlessness and contempt for historical research any longer. People are fighting back with an economic quarantine of the state.

“We can take our tourist dollars elsewhere; we can avoid Hawai’i businesses and products.

“Boycotts, of course, always impose a hardship on local citizens. But Hawai’ians have a remedy: they can vote the rascals out of office; people can demand that historical records be made available to the American people. Then, and only then, will the boycott be lifted.

“The political classes in Washington and Honolulu are pretending that historical facts about Obama’s origins in Hawai’i can be concealed indefinitely. What are they hiding?

“To claim as Hawai’i Judge Bert Ayabe did that Obama has a ‘privacy’ interest in his birth certificate is to make an ass of the Hawai’i courts.

“Linda Lingle and her administration are concealing Obama’s original 1961 typewritten birth certificate. We will continue the fight to make it public, as well as to seek the disclosure of any other Hawai’i state records concerning President Obama,” Martin says.

“In the meantime, the boycott is on; the boycott is continuing. The boycott is biting. And slowly the boycott is impacting on Hawaii’s economy. Republicans, Democrats and Independents are all tourists. There is a natural suspicion of the local veil of secrecy over Obama’s records.

"Now that Barack Obama is in the White House, unease is growing about his past. Issues, carefully swept under the carpet during the campaign, are emerging into the full light of day.

“When public officials hide the truth, conceal the facts and deny access to the evidence, they fan the speculation, hysteria and even resistance. I am working hard to find the facts and tell the truth because every day I see increasingly strident e-mails questioning Obama’s family history. Much of this suspicion would be alleviated and eliminated by release of the 1961 certificate. Why are they hiding it, and what are they hiding?

“In closing, I want to point out that BoycottHawaii.com is both functionally separate from and practically related to the movie production ‘Obama: The Hawai’i years.’ In the movie, we are looking for facts and testimony. Obama supporters in a frenzy as our team returns to Honolulu

Last October, Obama's supporters were apoplectic when our investigative team arrived in Honolulu. None of the mainstream media had bothered to look into Obama's Hawai'i past. They pretended he was from Chicago. He was twenty-four years old before he moved to Chicago.

Obama supporters have gone into a new mudslinging frenzy at the prospect of our return to Honolulu today.

Friday, on the eve of our Saturday departure, Obamabots hacked into our Facebook account and tried to mangle our site. We have corrected their smears. Why do the Obamabots get so scared every time I head for Hawai'i? Maybe they know something you don't know. Yet.

It is truly extraordinary that only Rush Limbaugh and I are attacked by name by Barry O and his goose-stepping little brownshirts in the White House. Their smears must tell you who really worries Obama & Co: Limbaugh & Martin. (Note: I have no connection with Rush.)

I take all of BHO's dirty tricks as a compliment. He and his supporters fear nothing so much as they fear the truth about who and what Obama is. Can you imagine what we would be able to do if we had 1/10th of the financial resources the Obamabots have? Because of my passion for the truth, most of the time I will be living in a roach motel and eating junk food in Hawai'i, just to be sure the movie project gets done. The more Obama's supporters smear me, the more energized I am.

A disappointing note

We did not receive any financial support for our new lawsuit against the Hawai'i Governor and Attorney General, so we will have to scrap efforts to keep fighting for access to freedom of information materials about Obama in Hawai'i.

Movie planning in Honolulu is going great. We hope to do an outstanding job for the American people. Our shoestring operation will hit the ground running in Honolulu Saturday.

"I am overjoyed to announce that Operation Aloha Obama II starts in Honolulu in just two weeks, on May 9th," Andy Martin will announce.

"Operation Aloha Obama last October was a great success; some even credit our initial investigation for attracting Barack Obama back 'home.'

"What is clear is that our historical research into Obama's past attracts equal amounts of attention from both Obama sycophants and opponents.

"Operation Aloha Obama II is going to build on the success of its predecessor and take these dramatic new steps:

"First, we will be producing a movie for the Internet: 'Obama: The Hawai'i Years.' This is a non-profit project and we are seeking financial support for all aspects of the documentary.

"Second as part of our feature film research, we will be doing media outreach with local advertising in Honolulu to invite persons with knowledge of President Obama, Frank Marshall Davis, Madelyn and Stanley Dunham, Ann Dunham and Barack Obama, Sr. to come forward. They can be interviewed on or off camera.

"Amazingly, no one has done this before. The local advertising in Honolulu begins the week of April 27th. Our efforts represent the first independent historical research project in Hawai'i concerning Barack Obama's early years.

"Third, we will be holding a news conference to explain to Hawai'ians just why we are conducting BoycottHawaii.com and why we are asking tourists to avoid the Aloha State. We want state officials and school officials to stop concealing historical records about BHO.

"Finally, if we receive sufficient resources to finance litigation, we plan to file new lawsuits against state officials to open the secret vaults of Obama records.

"In all of our endeavors we keep the separation wall between 'fact' and 'opinion' sacrosanct. We want the truth and the facts about Barack Obama so that the American people can make their own informed opinion about the man. The poet William Wordsworth wrote 'The child is father of the man.' Obama is no exception.

"Five years ago I authored the first column expressing doubts about BHO's imaginary and hidden family history. We helped to create a 'Nation of Doubters.' Today roughly half of the American population worships Obama. The other half dislikes him and does not feel he has given them the truth about his past.

"Our ongoing historical research aims to dig out the facts that Obama tries to hide. While I obviously lean to the 'Doubter' position, I am not a hater. I am acutely aware of my responsibility to find the truth and the facts for every American, whether they are supporters or doubters of Barack Obama.

"In fact, I believe that each 'side' feeds off the other: the Doubters are energized by the fact that Obama won’t open himself to historical scrutiny, and Obama's true believers see the Doubters as sinister and insincere.

"One Honolulu newspaper claimed I had moved there. I am not yet a 'Kamaaina,' but I enjoy interacting with the Hawai'ian people. I believe people there recognize that I am only looking for the facts and the truth.

"Barack Obama, of course, paid me the ultimate compliment last year both before and after Operation Aloha Obama, when he launched personal attacks against me by name, and created a dirty tricks operation to smear me. Obama was obviously trying to discredit and discourage my search for the truth. I am not discouraged.

"What it all comes down to is this: what does Obama have to hide? Now that he is in the White House? What? Why won’t he open his original 1961 birth certificate to scrutiny? Why won’t he release his Punahou School records and college and law school files? To writers and researchers at least? Why? Ultimately, it is Obama himself who is the architect and energy behind the Doubters. He obviously feels he has to hide the truth about his past. We equally obviously ask 'Why?'

"Obama does not own history, and he cannot control the historical facts about his childhood forever. It is in that spirit that we launch Operation Aloha Obama II on May 9th. We seek only open and honest historical inquiry about the man who sits in the White House. I made clear on the cover of my first book, 'Obama: The Man Behind The Mask,' that the book was a work-in-progress. We expect 'Obama: The Hawai'i Years' to generate worldwide interest in Obama's Honolulu period.

"We were the first investigative team to go to Honolulu in 2008. We are continuing our research in 2009. We will not be the last. The truth about Mr. Obama's past remains to be found," Martin states.

Dear Friends:

Almost every day brings a scary new conspiracy theory about Barack Obama. I don’t understand why people waste their time concocting conspiracies; frankly, the facts and the truth about Obama are scary enough.

Today I am excited to announce a new project that will, once again, focus attention on the truth and facts about Obama’s personality and political orientation: our new Internet movie, Obama, The Hawai’i Years. The movie is based on my own book, Obama, “The Man Behind The Mask,” and Obama’s novel “Dreams From My Father.”

We are asking ordinary citizens to contribute small amounts to cover the costs of production. This is a non-profit venture. The movie will be shown free on the Internet. I am donating my time and forty-one years of broadcasting and production experience. People need to contribute if they want to support the cause.

The more money we have to work with, the better the quality of the finished product. Pre-production has already begun. Actual taping begins in Honolulu on May 9th.

Why is Hawai’i important? Well, Michelle Obama and I don’t agree on much. She hates America and I love our country. But Michelle and I do agree that Barack’s formative years in Hawai’i are the key to decoding his character and political personality.

Last year I led the first investigative reporting team to land in Honolulu: Operation Aloha Obama. We caused a big commotion in Obama’s home state. Surprisingly, Obama himself returned to Honolulu while I was there. Just a coincidence? You be the judge.

It is a fact that I am the only one of Obama’s critics that he has sent his malignant mouthpiece Robert Gibbs out to attack by name. Just me. Why does Barry O dislike me? Precisely because I ignore conspiracy theories and focus exclusively on the truth and the facts about his past.

Obama doesn’t like people who look into his past. Why?

In a few days we will also be launching Operation Aloha Obama II. The purpose of both the first trip last October and the trip next month is to explore Obama’s Hawai’i background. We are searching for the underlying truths about how he became the man he is, and the people who influenced his character and personality.

Just because I search for the truth doesn’t mean that I don’t have my own opinions. I do. The new film will be a mixture of fact and opinion.

When I began writing analytically about Obama five years ago, I was the only independent to do the basic digging. I am still alone. Both Obama’s enemies and supporters live in mutually exclusive dream worlds. I continue to live in the real world, searching for the facts about his past. It is becoming an increasingly scary space.

People sometimes criticize me for not joining the effort to dream up conspiracy theories. But Obama-in-the-White-House is a reality, a cruel reality and ultimately a catastrophic reality for the American people. Every one of us. Those who voted for Obama, and those who voted against him, will suffer equally. So I am committed to the search for the truth and the facts about Mr. Obama, not conspiracy theories.

We are still accepting donations to defray the costs of Operation Aloha Obama II, and contributions to finance public interest lawsuits. We want to pry loose documents about Obama that are being covered up by corrupt public officials such as Governor Linda Lingle and Attorney General Mark Bennett. One thing about Hawai’i: corruption and cover-ups are a bipartisan affair.

Hawai’i is sponsoring “tours” about Obama without telling us the truth about his family origins. How contemptible. Hawai’i’s arrogant attitude is the definition of chutzpah, or sheer gall.

Why are people in Hawai’i so afraid of the truth? Operation Aloha Obama II is only there to search for the facts, not to propagate lies or conspiracy theories.

The public interest lawsuits and new Internet film about Obama’s early years can’t become a reality without your financial support.

(NEW YORK)(April 19, 2009) Please forgive me for a very angry column. I truly apologize for losing my temper at Barack Obama.

I don't often feel ashamed of the United States and frustrated with the American people, but I feel ashamed and angry today. Gullible Americans voted for an enemy of the United states to sit in the White House: Barack Obama. We will pay the price in blood soon enough. Our men and women in uniform will die as a result of the world chaos being created by Obama.

Please don't misconstrue my views on foreign policy. Diplomacy is essential, and diplomacy means dealing with your enemies as well as your friends. I have no problem with the State Department dealing with Venezuela, or Iran, or Cuba or North Korea. I would encourage State to do so. That’s what our representatives are supposed to do. But dealing with your enemies takes a deft hand.

Barry Obama’s groveling to dictators exposes him as an enemy of the American people and an enemy of freedom all around the world. Obama is a socialist saboteur who is deliberately destroying America’s image and the hopes of freedom-loving people everywhere. Who is he going to grovel to next?

Those are some of the more complimentary things I can say about him today.

Watching Obama bow to the Saudi king was an embarrassment, but it didn’t really change anything.

But watching Obama cavort with Hugo Chavez yesterday made me sick. No really. Sick. Obama is betraying the freedom-loving people of Venezuela.

Last fall Obama created a dirty tricks squad to smear me, and he sent his designated moron Robert Gibbs to attack me on national television. What had I done to incur the wrath of the chosen one? Take a look for yourself at my prophesy on the video (look at my segment at the link below, Part II); I had predicted the future:

I said on Hannity’s America: "If you love the Cuban revolution and Castro, and if you love what's happening in Venezuela with Hugo Chavez, you'll love Barry Obama."

Obama’s attempt today to deflect criticism of his submission to Hugo Chavez, by comparing the dollar-value of Venezuela’s defense budget to the United States' defense expenditures, is pure sophistry. No one expects Venezuela to attack the U.S.

The issue is freedom: Chavez has enslaved Venezuela and made himself a Castro-style dictator. He kills his enemies. He has bankrupted that wealthy nation. People are increasingly hungry. But William Ayers and Hugo Chavez? They love each other. Ayers was Obama’s advance man in Venezuela. Billy-boy laid the foundations; Obama is building his temple of love to Chavez.

Obama has betrayed every Venezuelan who is working to preserve freedom and democracy there. Imagine how Venezuelans who are fighting Chavez’ dictatorship must feel seeing Obama confer his seal of approval on Chavez. America has seldom been more disgraced by a chief executive. Barack Obama is an enemy of the American people.

Obama knew what he was planning to do if he became president, and last October he exploded when I laid out the time line of his radial connections from Ayers to Al-Mansour to Chavez and Castro, on Hannity’s America. It’s all there in my appearance on Sean’s show.

Now you know why the extreme left and George Soros’ brown shirted thugs attacked me so vehemently post-Hannity: I had decoded Obama’s plans and spoken the ultimate truth about how he planned to betray the United States.

My prophesy on Hannity’s program has now become a realty.

Now you know the rest of the story. And you know why last year the Obama campaign targeted me as their #1 enemy. They knew.

I tell the truth.

Every freedom-loving, loyal American is increasingly endangered by Barack Obama and his coterie of anti-American saboteurs in the White House. Is everyone who works for Obama a bad apple? Not at all. Many are good people who are supporting the work of a bad man. But I guarantee you Obama’s cozying and coddling dictators is going to bear bitter fruit for the American people.

Footnote: Rupert Murdoch, the groveling media baron, disgracefully smeared me for going on Hannity’s program and exposing Obama. Who has been vindicated by events? Me? Or Murdoch?
