(CHICAGO)(September 19, 2010, 2010) Illinois Reform Party U. S. senate candidate Andy Martin, who is fighting to stay on the ballot and is planning to run as a write-in candidate against Mark Kirk, will hold a Sunday news conference to express his jubilation at the vociferous opposition which greeted Glenn Beck Saturday night. Beck's appearance was delayed because of the protests. Martin is normally a Republican, and he is supporting the Republican Party slate with the exception of the "closeted" Mark Kirk.

"When I started the ball rolling to organize a protest against Illinois Republican crooks trying to raise money by using Glenn Beck, I had no idea hundreds of people would respond," Martin will state. "Many of the protesters were liberals, but that's all right. As an Episcopalian myself I was delighted to see an Episcopal priest on the front lines. Liberals and conservatives are angry and fed up with our rigged Illinois election system.

"2010 Candidates were required to file for office a year ago. The world has changed greatly in the last year, but Illinois voters are still locked in with and stuck with candidates who were determined a year ago. This is not democracy. Both Democrats and Republicans need to raise their voices in protest.

"We need an electoral process in Illinois where voters get to vote in warm weather, not in the dead of winter. We need to have candidates who are chosen closer to the general election, not candidates who are required to file for office a year in advance of the general election.

"Chicago media lied during the primary election and ignored overwhelming evidence of military fraud by Mark Kirk. Voters were fooled and rigged again.

"We need to launch a bipartisan crusade. I am not afraid to sit down and talk with liberals any more than I am afraid to sit down with my conservative brethren. If we are going to solve the problems of this nation, we need to come together. For example, we need to rebuild our manufacturing capacity; German manufacturing has shown the way to prosperity and economic stability in this regard. Manufacturing creates good jobs at good wages. Instead of trying to divide a shrinking pie, we need to rebuild an expanding economy where everyone has a fair opportunity to share in the fruits of our financial success.

"I may be a conservative, but I am a conservative who cares about the poor, and not just about the affluent. There but for the Grace of God go I. You can't be a real Christian without manifesting love for those in need.

"Pat Brady is paying lawyers to keep me off the ballot. Why? He knows Republicans want to vote for me, not the slimy pipsqueak Mark Kirk. Kirk lied about his teaching career, he lied about his role in the cabal that sabotaged the Republican agenda, he lied about his military service, he lies about everything. The man's entire life is a lie. He is a disgrace to every and any Republican who votes for him.

"There were many honest conservatives who turned out Saturday night at Right Nation 2010, and I respect and admire them. But they are being used and abused by Illinois' political shysters such as Pat Brady and Mark Kirk.

"Andrew Breitbart was way off base when he taunted the sidewalk protesters. Breitbart had no idea he was being used as a stooge by Illinois Republicans to legitimize their corrupt 'Combine' operations.

"I stand with the people of Illinois, and Friday I stood before the 'Tower of Power' in Manhattan at News Corporation headquarters and warned Glenn Beck he would be met with protests if he came to Illinois to act as a cover for corruption. He's better than that. And he was met with opposition. Saturday night, the People of Illinois stood with me," Martin will state.

Martin has a Monday morning hearing in Circuit Court seeking to reverse the decision of the Machine-dominatedState Elections Board. Martin has filed to run as a write-in if he is kept off the ballot. He joins U. S. Senator Lisa Murkowski in that regard.

(NEW YORK)(September 16, 2010) ContrarianCommentary.com’s Executive Editor, Andy Martin, will hold a New York City news conference Friday, September 17th to condemn Glenn Beck for acting as a front for liberals in the Illinois Republican Party.

“Let me start by saying that there are a number of fine conservatives who are participating in Right Nation 2010,” Martin says. “But they are being used as dupes by the Illinois Republican Party. Where is senate candidate Mark Kirk? Hiding from conservatives. While liberal Republicans claim they are for ‘unity’ and raise cash to support Kirk nefarious candidacy, Kirk is running TV ads claiming he is an ‘independent.’

“Illinois Republican leaders, led by corrupt attorney and influence-peddler Pat Brady, nominated the most liberal candidate for the U. S. Senate in either party anywhere in the United States, Mark Kirk. Kirk voted for infanticide. He is not ‘pro-choice;’ he is for killing children who are born alive.

“Illinois Republican leaders such as Pat Brady are part of a corrupt bipartisan ‘Combine’ that loots Illinois taxpayers to feed both Republican and Democratic greed. Te State of Illinois is bankrupt, but government was not bankrupted solely by Democrats. Republicans are equally guilty, and are equal recipients of the endless public graft.

“Why is Glenn Beck supporting these crooks and raising money to broadcast their message? Has he no concern for his own credibility? He should stay the hell away from Illinois’ despicable Republican Party leadership and bogus conservatives.

“Kirk is a military pretender who lied about his medals, lied about his military service and lied about every aspect of his adult life. He effectively raped and abandoned his former wife, Kimberly Bertoli, and left her an emotional basket case.

“In Congress, Kirk played ‘footsie’ with Republican Pedophile Mark Foley, and helped sabotage President George Bush’s conservative agenda, in concert and conspiracy with homosexual employees on the payroll of former Speaker Dennis Hastert.

“As a college student Kirk followed gay lovers to Mexico, and sought to be around children to satisfy his pedophilic urges. Gay media and gay leaders regularly report on Kirk’s homosexual activity and hypocrisy.

“Are we supposed to forget Kirk’s past? Or present? Do we ignore his lies and vote for him as the ‘lesser of two evils?’ I think not. I have no problem with gays in the Republican Party. But I do have a serious problem with closeted Republican gay men that are subject to blackmail by liberal Democrats that know the truth about their depredations in Chicago’s ‘Boy’s Town.’

“I have a problem with a man who votes against repeal of ‘don’t ask, don’t tell,’ and then sends his emotional basket case former wife out to claim that he will vote for repeal if he is elected.

“Kirk is a scandal waiting to happen, after all of the scandals he has already generated in 2010. There are more to come.

“Beck is being paid to raise money where the principal beneficiary will be Illinois Republican leaders. If a liberal media personality such as Keith Olbermann were doing the same for corrupt Democrats, Beck would be howling in protest. He would compare Olbermann to Judas Iscariot and accuse him of selling his soul for thirty pieces of silver.

“Well, what about it Glen? Are you so hard up for cash you have to raise money that is going right into the pockets of the most extremely liberal Republican Party organization in America?”

Martin says that while Right Nation 2010 is billed as a "unity" event, in reality it is exactly the opposite. The meeting is nothing but a closeted fund raising vehicle to gain support for the Illinois Republican Party’s liberal agenda while seeking to neuter and neutralize genuine Illinois and Midwestern state conservatives through a bogus veneer of “unity.”

“Mark Kirk has made a joke of the Illinois Republican Party. Why would Beck want to make a joke of his conservative credentials? Does he need the money that bad?” Martin will state outside Beck’s midtown office building.

Martin says he would not be surprised to see pickets at Right Nation on Saturday, and “spontaneous” demonstrations which erupt inside the convention center as protests against Beck’s presence and support for Republican liberals becomes more generally known. Martin does not condone any form of violent demonstrations, however.

(NEW YORK)(September 16, 2010) I took a couple of weeks off to visit family in Florida and to take a more relaxed view of the current controversies, before all hell broke loose in mid-September. And, much to my surprise, all hell broke loose. Early.

There was the madcap Koran-burning pastor, who turned the world upside down before September 11th. And the demonstrations at the Ground Zero Mosque. And the minute I was out of town Barry Obama started acting up again. On and on it goes.

Well, we’re back. So get ready.

Starting today we will be providing our unique insight on the upcoming election and Pretender Barack Obama's role. Later in the week I hope to announce the results of a “War Council” that was held in Palm Beach during my time off. A major new initiative is on the way in the endless war for the truth and the facts about Barack Obama’s “religion” and place of birth. Aloha Obama!

But let me start with one conclusion, observation, call it what you want, that will serve as the overriding arc for what is to come in the days ahead. Barack Obama has made the 2010 election into a transformative moment in American politics. Most media have not yet grasped this fact. Even though Republicans will be the major beneficiaries of this transformation, most Republicans do not yet appreciate the enormity of what is coming. For better and for worse.

I was channel surfing last night and stumbled across my old friend Lionel from the Tampa Bay area. Twenty years ago Lionel and I used to josh on radio station WFLA. Lionel is one of the few broadcasters that understands what is about to hit the United States. A transformative wave that is going to sweep away much of the existing political order.

I saw such a wave hit in 1964. In the aftermath, President Johnson enacted a massive legislative program in 1965. But Johnson’s reach exceeded his grasp in Viet-Nam. Two years later in 1966 there was a reverse wave that erased the 89th Congress. 1966 led to the chaos of 1968 and the election of President Richard Nixon.

The Watergate wave hit in 1974. Six years later President Ronald Reagan erased the effects of 1974, and then some. Then came 1994 (the most popular frame of reference for 2010 for most cable TV bobbleheads). 2008 erased 1994, and then some.

The 2010 wave is going to be something very big, very unexpected and very upsetting to the established political order.

As usual, readers will agree with some of my views, and disagree with others. But we have a unique insight into what is coming. Just stay with ContrarianCommentary.com and surf the wave. And just as we were the first news organization to analyze and predict what was happening in 2008, we will be the first in 2010.

Note and full disclosure: To avoid confusion in the days ahead, let me start with a brief explanation. We will be operating on a two-track approach. Primarily, we will be analyzing national trends. Personally I am also involved in the campaign to defeat Mark Kirk for U. S. Senator in Illinois. So some days will be “national” days; and some days will be “Illinois” days. Hopefully, they will complement each other.
