FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Andy Martin looks at Jay Leno’s final show through the prism of Andy’s own 46 years of TV experience

February 7, 2014

Dear New Hampshire Citizen:

Along with many of you Thursday night I watched Jay Leno’s final appearance as host of the Tonight Show. The show touched me more than I thought it would. Perhaps you will share some of my feelings.

I started in television in 1968, as the youngest person ever authorized by the Federal Communications Commission to own and operate a television station. Videotape machines were the size of freezers, and tape was 2 inches wide. Over the decades I produced shows and commercials. In the 1990’s I was a pioneering guest on talk television, later becoming a guest on Hannity & Colmes and helping friends at Fox News launch the news channel with a little reporting from Florida. In 2008 I was at the center of what became the most controversial TV show of the presidential campaign. So my experience in broadcasting spans 46 exciting and informative years.

Over the decades I was always favorably disposed to NBC television; an NBC News bureau chief, Bill Corley, hired me to go to work for the network, but I declined. As a station owner NBC gave me my first network affiliation; they later paid me a princely sum for airing a TV spot in the 1970’s. So I understand Jay Leno’s sense of loyalty to NBC.

There were always opportunities along the way to become a “suit” and join a network or group broadcaster. But in Robert Frost’s words I took “The Road Not Taken” and chose to work independently. As Frost says, “that has made all the difference.” And that “difference” is why I can stand before you as the only Republican conservative ready to go to Washington and fight to make America strong again.

So what’s the link between Leno and my own experience?

In his closing words Leno imparted massive wisdom.

First, Jay explained how after the loss of his own family he allowed his associates to become his own replacement family. Jay explained how the audience itself becomes part of a great entertainer’s family. But in a larger sense Jay’s audience was always his “family.”

Can you think of a parallel? How’s this for size? Mitt Romney was one of the nicest, most decent people that ever sought the presidency, as the recent documentary “Mitt” confirms. Romney is a thoroughly honorable man. But Mitt never brought the American family into his own familial orbit. Had he done so, America would have a president in the White House today, not a pretender.

Jay paid homage to Johnny Carson, who was perhaps the greatest entertainer and comedian of the television age. But Jay and Johnny are people of vastly different personalities.

Johnny was the classic comedian who lived in an unhappy, depressive universe. Marital problems dogged him. Alcohol was a problem. Loneliness and alienation were his constant companions. He had few friends. A recent book on Carson by a close associate is sad reading.

No book about Jay would be depressing. More likely boring. He has been married to one woman. There are no sex scandals. He loves his work and he loves his home. Without ever making a public point of his fidelity Jay represents a traditional view of marriage. Jay seldom ends up on the gossip pages. He’s too busy working. He enjoys what he does.

Despite being based in Hollywood, Jay has never been as popular on the west coast and east coast as he is in Middle America. Jay is Middle America and he remains true to his Rhode Island roots. The NBC “suits” apparently want an edgier Tonight Show. We shall see what the public wants.

I know what loving your work feels like because I start every day thankful for the dawn, committed to doing my personal best until the setting sun. I take great pride and pleasure in helping and encouraging others.

Second, Jay paid homage to the traditional Americans workplace. He celebrated the union status of his program. He shared the joy of financial success by his staff. Today, corporate greed poisons our economy. The gap between workers and managers becomes wider and wider. Hedge fund speculators try for an edge against public investors, “the little people.” “Private equity” is really public looting.

But not in Leno’s world. He took time to celebrate the financial successes of his staff and the fact that they were well-paid. Ironically, Leno admitted that his workers made him sound better than he is, look better than he is and act smarter than he is. In other words genuine success is a mutually reinforcing experience. Our economy is not growing because business today is increasingly motivated by corporate destruction, not corporate development.

Today corporate managers seek to enrich themselves at the expense of their customers and employees. That’s why our economy is so weak. Instead of celebrating American togetherness, stock market speculators try to figure out how to export jobs to save a few pennies on the dollar, while devastating communities and regions and wondering why there are fewer and fewer buyers for their “imported” products. We are increasingly separated into the “1%” and the “99%.”

We must return to the all-American “100%.”

Jay was a shrewd businessman and he made a huge fortune, but not at the expense of his staff. Accusations of greed or exploitation against him are hard to find. Leno succeeded along with his workers, and because of them.

Leno was dumped by NBC, prematurely in my opinion. Attracting a mass audience, being an entertainer for a mass audience, is not easy in our fragmented world. I used to change channels when Leno’s Hollywood hype became a little too gooey but Jay was always a comfortable place to end the day. Will his replacement, Jimmy Fallon, hold Leno’s audience? I am very skeptical.

So what are my predictions for Leno’s future?

Jay said the only people he had ever known were NBC workers. He is loyal. The only place he had ever known was NBC’s Burbank studios. Can an old dog learn new tricks?

Leno might actually benefit from being dumped by NBC. Inevitably, even the most successful show can become stale around the edges.

Can Leno be comfortable and satisfied just doing stand-up comedy? Maybe. But I doubt it. He is too valuable a property to sit on the sidelines. I haven’t followed the intricacies of Jay’s contract separation with NBC but here is a hint of what could lie ahead: Leno got NBC to keep his entire staff on the payroll until September. In other words, “the only army that Leno has ever known” is bivouacked and ready to reassemble again if summoned by the general. That tactic alone suggests Leno is keeping all his options open.

I could be mistaken but I believe Leno is bigger than just night clubs and stand-up gigs. His humor is still broadly-based enough. Perhaps leaving NBC allows Jay to add a little sharper edge to his comedy. All in all, I believe the prospect of a return to “late night” will prove irresistible to Jay.

And why not? The “Greatest Generation” saved the world from Nazi horrors, and came home to build the greatest nation in history.

The Greatest then passed the baton to the “Boomer Generation’s” Bill Clinton, who managed to drive the nation into an abyss of immorality and mendacity.

George Bush drove us into an abyss of incompetence as he started wars and couldn’t finish them.

Then voters chose a post-Boomer, Barack Obama, who is dismantling this great nation. Obama is a “contenda.” For worst president in history.

So what are Democrats proposing to do in response to Obama’s incompetent leadership and personal arrogance? Go back to a Boomer girl from the Midwest, Hillary Clinton, for their next leader. “New” generations do not always mean “better.” We know that now.

And so while NBC says it was making a “generational change” in late night by dumping Leno, as it had every right to do, and as Jay departed under the most gracious circumstances, he still retains a hold on his audience and can return to the airwaves if he desires to do so. The “Boomers” still have a lot of “boom” left in them.

I, for one hope Jay returns.

In New Hampshire, the next U. S. Senator is likely to be a “Boomer.” And, as unlikely as it seems today, it could be me. If not me, voters will likely return Jeanne Shaheen to the Senate, despite her toxic five years in Washington. Take a page from Leno. Don’t bet against a man who loves his work and has 46 years of experience in radio and television. My “road not taken,” could just possibly be the road to reviving our party with the wisdom and energy necessary to unite Americans for the coming battles in 2015. Stay tuned.

As always, I invite your comments, reactions, suggestions and support!

Faithfully,

Andy

New Hampshire news conference: Andy Martin announces a statewide vote fraud hotline, GOP legal defense team ready

Romney’s Rangers, the Independent Mitt Romney Political Action Team led by New Hampshire corruption-fighter Andy Martin, will hold an Election Day news conference Tuesday November 6th to announce a statewide toll-free vote fraud hotline and the formation of a GOP legal defense team if election irregularities appear in Granite State voting results. Andy has been fighting in Strafford County and the New Hampshire Supreme Court to uphold a new law passed by the New Hampshire legislature that seeks to prevent temporary residents in New Hampshire from voting in New Hampshire elections. Andy will be voting at 11:00 A.M. in Manchester’s Third Ward (1528 Elm Street).

ANNOUNCEMENT OF MANCHESTER, NH NEWS CONFERENCE TUESDAY NOVEMBER 6TH

ATTENTION NATIONAL AND NEW HAMPSHIRE DAYBOOK/ASSIGNMENT EDITORS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Romney’s Rangers, led by Republican Party corruption fighter Andy Martin, will hold a Manchester news conference today to announce a statewide toll-free vote fraud hotline and a potential legal defense strategy if any vote fraud arises

Andy has been fighting in Superior Court and the New Hampshire Supreme Court to uphold a new New Hampshire law that seeks to prevent out-of-state individuals from voting in local elections without first becoming legal New Hampshire residents

Andy says New Hampshire’s “same day registration” makes the state extremely vulnerable to vote fraud

Andy votes in Manchester’s Third Ward at 11:00 A.M.

(MANCHESTER, NH) (November 6, 2012) Republican Party corruption fighter Andy Martin will hold a Manchester news conference Tuesday, November 6th at the Third Ward polling location (outside, on the public sidewalk, not inside the voting area) to announce a statewide toll-free vote fraud hotline and to announce he is prepared to go to court to challenge any presidential election voting irregularities.

Andy, New Hampshire’s leading corruption-fighter, has been a litigator in the ongoing battle to defend a new state law which seeks to prevent individuals from voting in New Hampshire without first establishing full New Hampshire residence.

“Unlike some other areas of the country, New Hampshire does not have a tradition of fraudulent elections,” Andy says. “But today’s election is a close one, and the temptation is always there. We are establishing a Statewide Toll-free Vote Fraud Hotline to accept reports of vote fraud or voting irregularities.

“I am also announcing that I am prepared to go to court and to assemble a legal team if an unusually close election results in contested election practices or ballots. Once again, other areas of the nation have egregious records of vote fraud and manipulation. New Hampshire thankfully does not have such a tradition. But we aim to keep it that way.

“I have been fighting in court to uphold a new law which seeks to prevent out-of-state citizens from voting in New Hampshire elections. The Democratic Party’s stalking horses sued in Strafford County to allow temporary residents to vote in New Hampshire, and Bill Clinton announced his support for such drive-by voting, which makes me suspicious Obama and Axelrod and their Chicago dirty tricksters may have plans for a little vote fraud in New Hampshire. So I am on the lookout for evidence of any voting irregularities.

“Because of same-day registration, New Hampshire is particularly vulnerable to vote fraud,” Andy notes.

Andy will also cast his own vote before his news conference.

Anyone wishing to report vote fraud voting irregularities can call (866) 706-ANDY.

Andy Martin renews his September 12th prediction that Benghazi is the “neutron” issue that will defeat President Obama for reelection

On September 12th Republican national security and foreign policy expert Andy Martin predicted “Benghazi-gate” would “doom President Obama’s reelection.” While “Washington Republicans” were undermining Mitt Romney on September 12th, Andy Martin stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the governor and predicted that the “Benghazi-gate” controversy would defeat Obama. In his provocative pre-election analysis, Andy now explains why “Benghazi-gate” is the “neutron” issue in the presidential campaign. Andy also defends Mitt Romney’s nimble decision to let surrogates and third parties carry the banner on Benghazi-gate. Andy says his prediction on September 12th was the “call of a lifetime.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Republican Party national security and foreign policy expert Andy Martin says his September 12th prediction that “Benghazi” would defeat President Obama is on schedule

Andy is a strong supporter of Governor Mitt Romney

In his latest detailed analysis, Andy explains why Benghazi has been a “neutron” issue and how Benghazi will bring down the Obama presidency

Andy says “Benghazi” has seeped into the election narrative without becoming a visible issue in the presidential campaign

Andy defends Mitt Romney’s decision to downplay Benghazi in Romney’s debate prep and closing arguments

Andy calls his Benghazi analysis the “call of a lifetime”

(Manchester, NH) (November 5, 2012) Republican Party national security and foreign policy expert Andy Martin was the first Republican to defend Governor Mitt Romney on September 12th and to predict the impact the attack on the U. S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya would have on the presidential election. His views:

I. The background to my September 12th prediction

I first went to Libya in 1971, soon after the Gaddafi regime took power. Over the decades since then, I have kept a close watch over developments in Libya. When the consulate was attacked on September 11, I immediately “connected the dots” and issued my presidential election prediction and public support for Mitt Romney on September 12th.

II. The criticism that the “media” are not paying attention

Partisans for an issue often believe they are receiving insufficient attention for their cause. That appears to be the case with regard to reporting on Benghazi-gate. But while others have criticized the “lack” of coverage I have kept my mouth shut.

I have been monitoring the spread of Benghazi-gate through the ether of the Internet. The spread of Benghazi-gate has been pervasive and ultimately lethal for the Obama campaign. If an issue has genuinely “not been covered,” then people should not know about it. But the people who need to know about Benghazi know all too well about the incident (see Part V below).

Benghazi has been both a highly visible issue and a “neutron bomb” that is exploding President Obama’s reelection without living any visible impact. Fox News has led the charge in exposing Benghazi-gate but other media have followed (see links in part [2] below for a small sampling). Jeanine Pirro has been leading the charge. Disputes with the CIA's version of events have been reported, as well as criticism of the “cover-up.”

A story does not have to be “front-page news” to have a dramatic impact, particularly when an issue has an esoteric appeal to a specific group of voters such as military personnel and veterans and voters focused on foreign policy. That’s why I now label Benghazi a “neutron” issue. I predicted on September 12th that the story would doom Obama’s reelection; that was the “call of a lifetime” for its prescience.

Since September Benghazi has seeped into every area of the presidential campaign. The attack and the aftermath and cover-up are mentioned constantly and, apart from the campaign itself, and the candidates’ own tactics, Benghazi has been a focal point of the last weekend of the election. What more can anyone ask?

III. Romney’s decision not to focus on Benghazi-gate

Governor Romney has come under considerable criticism for not making “Benghazi” an issue in the final debate, and for not raising the issue of Benghazi in his speeches during the closing days of the campaign. Instead, surrogates such as John McCain and Kelly Ayotte and others have continued to attack the Obama administration for its Benghazi cover-up.

Media often want a “fight.” That is why there were endless predictions Romney would fire back at Obama in their final debate after the confusion generated by Candy Crowley at the second debate.

But Romney proved a more nimble and disciplined campaigner than anyone expected. Romney has stuck to his positive views, and his economic arguments. In my opinion, Romney’s closing days of the campaign have been brilliant.

Benghazi would have diluted Romney’s economic message and muddled the stream of positive comments Romney is delivering. As a clear example of shrewd marketing and candidate “positioning,” Romney’s team was totally correct and the media and others were completely wrong. In fact, Romney’s clear and consistent positive message, when juxtaposed with Obama’s negativity and querulousness, is a prime justification for my belief Romney will win on November 6th.

In retrospect, Romney’s team’s counterintuitive strategy of assigning Benghazi-gate to surrogates will prove to have been a brilliant decision. Benghazi-gate will be on November 6th what I predicted on September 12th, the issue that doomed President’s Obama’s reelection campaign.

Indeed, Benghazi has infiltrated the media to such an insidious extent that people ignore the obvious. Saturday’s New York Post “Page Six” had a cartoon that showed President Obama pursued by a Frankenstein “Benghazi.” (I can’t find a hyperlink to the cartoon; if you find one, please send it to me.) All aspects of the controversy have received more than adequate analysis (see links below in part [2]).

But the article that crystallized the pervasiveness of the Benghazi issue for me was an editorial written by Jac Versteeg raising doubts about Obama’s handling of the Benghazi aftermath (see link [3] below). The Palm Beach Post is a liberal newspaper in a very liberal part of a liberal region (South Florida).

Any Democrat should know that when Obama’s judgment is being challenged in the Palm Beach Post, the president “has a serious problem.” Anyone and everyone for whom Benghazi would be a decisive issue in voting is now fully aware of what happened and how Obama evaded responsibility for his feckless behavior in allowing besieged Americans to be denied any relief.

IV. Andy Martin’s lifetime of national security predictions

Dan Balz, who is now the national political correspondent for the Washington Post, was my editor at the Daily Illini at the University of Illinois. At the beginning of 1968 I walked into Dan’s cube and handed him a commentary based on my knowledge of Viet-Nam. I predicted Khe Sanh would be a critical battlefield in 1968, and that the A-Shau Valley would become a renewed focus. Both predictions proved to be correct. Balz did not run my column because he did not trust my expertise. Balz was not the last person to ignore my work.

During the 1979-1980 Iran hostage crisis I was the only American allowed into Iran in 1980. President Carter’s staff ignored my analysis then.

In the run up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, I predicted the invasion would weaken Israel and strengthen Iran. While living in Baghdad I became an early, if not the first, critic of Paul Bremer. I predicted the insurgency when the opposite view in Washington was that the capture of Saddam Hussein ended the conflict. So while my September 12th Benghazi analysis was the “call of a lifetime,” I have made many similar “calls” during a national security and foreign policy career that goes back to the 1960’s. Now you know why my views and analysis are respected around the world. I have a proven track record of getting the call right.

[Andy has over forty years of national security experience with Asia and the Middle East; he is regarded overseas as one of America’s most respected independent foreign policy, military and intelligence analysts. His analysis of the terrorist threat in Iran during the 1979-80 hostage crisis, and again in Iraq in 2003, were leading-edge predictions of what Americans faced in the future.

Andy first went to Asia in 1967 and since then he has been in Israel, Jordan, Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Viet-Nam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Burma and Hong Kong. He was in Iran and Afghanistan in 1979-80, and has regularly returned to Southwest Asia since then. Most recently he lived overseas in Iraq in 2003.]

V. The bottom line: Benghazi undermines Obama’s reelection

President Obama thought his “killing Osama” meme would encourage military veterans and retirees to vote for him. Benghazi has turned the military and the veterans’ community against the president. Retired veterans are concentrated in swing states such as Florida, New Hampshire, Nevada and Ohio. The manner in which besieged Americans in Benghazi were callously denied any rescue efforts has disgusted our military personnel and veterans. Veterans’ votes will prove to be the margin of victory for Mitt Romney in several swing states. Count’em. Ironically, and surprisingly for many, Benghazi “grew” into a lethal weapon against Obama, a self-inflicted fatal wound to his reelection. And I predicted that on September 12th.

Mitt Romney Memo #1: Andy Martin explains how Mitt Romney bungled his response to Obama’s lie that “Romney wants to bankrupt the auto industry”

Romney’s Rangers, The Independent Mitt Romney Political Action Team led by Republican activist Andy Martin, is beginning a series of “Debate Prep” memos for Governor Mitt Romney. In “Mitt Memo #1” Andy exposes Barack Obama’s lies about Romney’s 2008 proposal to rescue the auto industry. Andy explains what Romney actually said in 2008. Andy critiques Romney’s response to relentless accusations that Romney wanted to “bankrupt the auto industry” in 2008, perhaps the wildest and most bogus attack that Barack Obama has hurled at Romney. Andy explains to Romney what Romney actually said, and compares what Romney actually said with what Obama actually did. More memos will follow. Andy exposes Obama’s “Romney wanted to destroy the auto industry” “Big Lie” with the facts, since Romney himself has never made an effective response to Obama’s fraudulent accusations.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Romney’s Rangers, led by Republican Party activist and New Hampshire corruption-fighter Andy Martin, begins a new series of “Debate Prep” memos for Governor Mitt Romney

Andy was and is a strong supporter of Governor Mitt Romney

Andy says Romney has never effectively answered Barack Obama’s bogus accusation that Romney wanted to “bankrupt” the auto industry in 2008

As usual, Andy is completely tethered to the facts, which the media have studiously ignored while endlessly repeating Obama’s “Big Lie” about Romney’s 2008 proposals

Andy Martin begins his new series of “insider memos” for Mitt Romney, since Romney’s own staff has failed to adequately advise the governor

In effect, Andy has become Mitt Romney’s own “management consultant”

(Manchester, NH) (October 16, 2012) Republican Party activist Andy Martin announced today that he is producing a new series of “Mitt Memos,” in which he guides the candidate on how to deal with problems in Romney’s campaign.

Mitt Memo #1: Romney never proposed “bankrupting” the auto industry

1. The background to Barack Obama’s false accusation

A. In 2005 I published a column proposing that General Motors file for bankruptcy (the column is not independently online but you can read it at the bottom of footnote/link [2] below. My column created a stir in the auto industry and received considerable attention for its dramatic conclusions and proposal, see link/footnote [3] below. What made my observations particularly trenchant is that I consider myself a friend of the UAW (United Auto Workers), not an enemy, and it was a painful analysis to present to GM workers.

B. In 2008, during the fall financial crisis, Mitt Romney published an op-ed column on the auto industry, see footnote/link [1] below. The New York Times, not Romney, gave the article the misleading headline “Let Detroit go bankrupt.” Romney’s column may be the least read and most misconstrued op-ed remarks in history. Barack Obama uses the column to suggest that Romney is anti-auto and wanted to “bankrupt” the industry. Nothing could be further from the facts, all of which are contained within Romney’s own column. (Read the full column and judge for yourself whether my characterization is a fair one.) Ironically, Romney proposed in 2008 the exact approach which I had recommended in 2005!

C. What Romney said was the following:

“The American auto industry is vital to our national interest as an employer and as a hub for manufacturing. A managed bankruptcy may be the only path to the fundamental restructuring the industry needs…The federal government should provide guarantees for post-bankruptcy financing and assure car buyers that their warranties are not at risk.”

Romney also said:

“I believe the federal government should invest substantially more in basic research…The federal government should also rectify the imbedded tax penalties that favor foreign car makers.”

Do any of Romney’s remarks sound “anti-auto?” Thank you. Then why has Romney allowed Obama to lie and lie and lie about Romney’s proposal to rescue the auto industry in 2008?

D. So what is a “managed bankruptcy?” There are two types of bankruptcy proceedings. In Chapter 7, failed firms are liquidated and their assets are sold off. The business ends. In Chapter 11, firms are reorganized under court supervision, labor contracts are usually modified, excess assets are sold and the business is placed on a sound financial footing. Over the years, skillful lawyers created “managed bankruptcy” proceedings, where the financial deals were cut before the bankruptcy case was actually filed, and the creditors knew what was going to happen and what they were going to get in advance. Managed bankruptcies are used to avoid the uncertainty and delay that can sometimes take place in an unstructured proceeding.

E. What President Obama did in early 2009 is to exactly and precisely follow Mitt Romney’s suggestions, and arrange managed bankruptcies for GM and Chrysler, with one major exception. Instead of protecting creditors and auto workers as a whole, Obama only protected UAW workers. GM auto workers that were not UAW members were thrown on the street. Workers from other industries who had invested their pension money in the auto industry saw their pension assets diminished so that the UAW could receive special compensation and indemnity. In other words, Obama rewarded his friends, and stole from people who didn’t know the president was raiding their pocketbooks.

2. The problem Romney faces

Governor, you have badly bungled Barack Obama’ accusation that you wanted to “bankrupt” and destroy the auto industry. Perhaps more than any issue Obama’s auto industry accusation accounts for your inability to take a strong lead in the race against the president. Obama’s accusation that you were anti-auto and wanted to bankrupt and destroy the auto industry is perhaps one of the biggest lies, if not the biggest lie, in the history of American politics. And yet you have let Obama and his stooges get away with their nonsense, and allowed the lie to be propagated over and over again by the media.

3. My proposed answer for Romney at the debate

Thank you for your question. In 2009, President Obama did exactly what I proposed to rescue the auto industry in my column in 2008. Since then, President Obama and his supporters have lied (“misrepresented?”) my 2008 proposal to rescue the auto industry, and have lied about what I proposed and what they did, because my 2008 proposal precisely tracked what the president did in 2009.

I proposed “managed bankruptcies” for GM and Chrysler. What did Obama do? He arranged managed bankruptcies for GM and Chrysler. Obama’s attempt to suggest I wanted to destroy or dismantle the auto industry is a Big Lie, perhaps the Biggest Lie ever in American politics. The “managed bankruptcy” which I proposed is exactly what the president did. The financial agreements were worked out in advance of filing the proceedings in the bankruptcy court, and both GM and Chrysler were saved exactly as I had outlined. I wish Barack Obama would start telling the truth abut what I proposed and what he did, and stop lying about me and stop lying about what I proposed in 2008. Obama’s claim that I was “anti-auto” is a disgrace to him personally and to his supporters that constantly repeat the big lie. You can read my column and see for yourself how Obama has distorted the truth. Only a desperate candidate lies about his opponent. What does that say about the president? How can you trust someone who distorts the truth and the facts the way the president has?

4. Closing observations by Andy

Romney can prepare his response to make it slightly softer, but the facts are the facts. Both the liberal media and Obama and his stooges have blatantly lied about Mitt Romney’s 2008 proposal to rescue the auto industry. They have used a misleading headline which Romney did not write, and ignored what Romney actually did write. Romney has allowed himself to be a punching bag for Obama’s lies. When is Romany going to call out the president and expose Obama’s lies? Maybe tonight.

Mitt Romney is a decent man who made the same auto industry proposal in 2008 that I had made in 2005. Romney has been vilified by the media, none of whom have read his original remarks. The media have failed to expose Obama’s lies and distortions. What does that tell you about the media?

Tuesday night, take off the gloves Mitt. Memo # 2 will soon follow. And then #3.
