Andy’s theory that Frank Marshall Davis was probably President Barack Obama’s biological father was initially ridiculed by CNN and other leftist media (link below). Today the ‘Davis-as-father’ theory has become a mainstream conservative meme.


Andy’s ‘Davis’ theory has now prompted a new movie on the Davis/Obama connection. There is widespread acknowledgement that Andy’s Internet activity continues to be a prime factor in efforts to deny Obama a second term.

Obama was living in some kind of Asian ‘bubble’ where he waltzed around his girlfriend wearing a sarong (a male Asian dress-style garment). The public has always had doubts about Obama’s ‘inner’ life. Maraniss’ book is going to confirm and exacerbate those suspicions. Additional versions will be forthcoming. Andy is about to reprise his 2008 success in undermining public confidence in who Barack Obama really is, and what Obama really stands for. Andy’s “sarong issue” is about to enter American politics.



“David Maraniss’ new book has opened an ‘eye’ into Barack Obama’s ‘weirdness factor’ as a young college graduate,” Andy says. “By his early 20’s Obama was no longer a child playing in a sandbox. Obama was a young Columbia University graduate, apparently living in Manhattan and Brooklyn. And he was living what by any standards was a bizarre lifestyle. Genevieve Cook, Obama’s ‘composite’ but real life girlfriend, is quoted in David Maraniss new book as seeing Obama wearing a sarong at home.



“Most Americans don’t even know what a sarong is.



“Is Obama wearing a sarong in the White House? The question is a reasonable one.



“The ‘foreigner’ doubts which tens of millions of Americans have had about Obama have now been confirmed. Obama was wearing a sarong, a form of male house dress-like garment popular in Asia, in Brooklyn and Manhattan in his 20’s. ‘Saronging’ represented Obama’s self-image, his statement to the world of ‘who he was.’ Obama’s self-image is probably creepy for most Americans. You can’t get any more ‘foreign’ than wearing a sarong at home, in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

If the birth certificate is public, how can Hawaii officials seek to keep it private? Obama has waived any privacy or secrecy rights by publicly releasing what he says is a copy of an authentic document.



“One of the basic principles of scholarly research and writing is that scholars always want to examine the original. Researchers deal with reviewing original texts, not accepting web site reproductions of official records as alternatives. Even an original copy of the Declaration of Independence is available at the National Archives. What's wrong with Hawai’i?



“Hawai’i officials are embarrassing president Obama and lighting a match to a new firestorm of Birther controversy (see North Carolina link below). While I disassociate myself from extreme elements of the Birther movement, I believe it is absolutely necessary and appropriate for Hawaii officials to allow access and viewing of the original record now that the president has authorized release of that document. How can you say the document is ‘secret’ when the president has posted what he says is a copy of the document on the White House web site?”

Re: President Barack Obama’s original birth certificate



Dear Director Fuddy:



Way back in 2008 I sued the HDOH when it refused to provide access to President Barack Obama’s original birth certificate. The mumbo jumbo at the time was that record was “secret.” Hawaii’s notoriously corrupt judicial system rubber-stamped the decision.



Since then President Obama has sent someone to Hawai’i, received a certified copy of the original document, and posted it on the White House web site. So the information contained on the original is no longer secret. Secrecy has been waived.



Nevertheless, as a scholar and historian I would like to examine the original document. Scholars and researchers always examine original texts and not electronic copies. The document is a historical archive.



I am coming to Honolulu next week and I would like to make arrangements to view the original copy of the Obama birth certificate. I assume you are no longer making arguments based on secrecy since the document is no longer secret.



Please let me know what arrangements can be made to view the original Obama birth certificate.



I would appreciate a response by fax or email as I am on the road a great deal and these come right to my computer.

Andy says he has been completely vindicated by David Maraniss’ new book on Obama. Maraniss exposes new fictional characters in Obama’s “autobiography.” “Barack Obama is a complete fraud,” Andy says. Every day that Obama is in the White House the American people are in danger.

“We landed in Honolulu Wednesday evening. We announced our latest trip in early March. Obama is feeling the pressure of our new investigations. Our new disclosures expose Obama as a liar and fraud and other authors such as Maraniss are confirming my own research and writing. Obama has become a worldwide laughingstock (link below).



“Obama makes psychologically challenged President Richard Nixon look like an open book. Obama lied from the first day he appeared on the Illinois political scene, he lied his way onto the national stage, and he lied his way into the White House.

“The media are now trying to cover-up their own fraudulent practices by belatedly claiming Obama disclosed in the introduction to his book that some ‘characters’ were composite. True, but misleading. Obama never disclosed in his book who was a real person and who was a composite. The reader was left to guess what was truthful and what was imaginary. In an autobiography?



“My own mother asked me last month, ‘Why go back to Hawai’i; don’t we already know all there is to know about Hawai’i?’ The answer was ‘no’ we don’t. My research team, unlike Donald Trump’s imaginary ‘investigators,’ is actually here and actually investigating. For doubting Thomas’, they can ‘touch me’ if they require a Jesuitical confirmation of my actual presence in Hawai’i.

Andy says Obama’s current efforts to mobilize university students stem directly from Obama’s “European socialist” mentality



(NEW YORK) (May 1, 2012) I was the first person to call candidate Barack Obama a “socialist” on national television, in October, 2008 on “Hannity’s America.” (link below) Since then the media have ridiculed Republican claims that Obama is a “European socialist.” But the liberal media are wrong, and I was right.



As I prepare to land in Hawai’i in a few hours here are some of my reasons for returning to Honolulu for another research expedition into Obama’s childhood and adolescent years.



A national government subsidizes university educations. Each year campuses produce tens and even hundreds of thousands of new graduates. For whom there are no jobs. The national government then subsidizes “students” in continuing post-graduate education programs and provides long-term “student” stipends and subsidies to compensate for the lack of economic opportunity. Governments then appeal to “students” as a political bloc and “students” return the favor by supporting political parties that promise to extend their special benefits.



Sound familiar?



Well, appealing to students and subsidizing students and trying to mold students into a cohesive political force is one of the bedrocks of European socialist countries. Now President Barack Obama is trying to “import” the European socialist model to the United States.



Last week Obama was flying from campus to campus, appealing to students to vote for lower student loan interest rates. This weekend Obama will be on college campuses, again appealing for “student support.”



Watching Obama appeal to college students was, frankly, embarrassing. He treated them like grown-up children. And they loved it. There was lingo about basketball coaches and tournaments, collegiate rivals, and all of the minutiae of the “college years” when young students are supposed to and are expected to morph into independent adults. But not in Obamaland.



In Obamaland the government gives, and gives and gives. If you just vote the right way. Easy. Queasy.



Sadly, Obama wants to extend childhood and retard the onset of adult responsibility. If you had told anyone twenty or thirty or forty years ago that it was “progress” for university graduates to continue a dependence on their parents, most people would have been be embarrassed to continue an umbilical cord after graduation. People believed that after college they should be establishing independent lives, jobs, relationships. Dad's health insurance? Oh, pleeeeze.



Today “helicopter parents” are creating an “endless” childhood, paying cell phone bills for children in their late twenties, welcoming “children” back into their homes, accepting a prolonged adolescence that can now last into a person’s 30’s. Year ago such a life model would have been considered embarrassing, dependent, a total failure. Today, I’m not so sure.



Watching some of the “students” that the media publicize, people in their 30’s looking for government subsidies so they can enjoy themselves with their own individual pursuits, while receiving the benefits of continuing government taxpayer subsidies from ordinary working class Americans, makes me wonder if individual energy and individual responsibility and adult values are not already endangered by the Obama mentality.



Obama’s plays the “student/endless childhood” fiddle with a virtuoso touch. He promises “lower interest rates,” like any snake oil salesman seeking to separate the vulnerable and gullible from their lucre (in this case their votes). The only problem? Obama’s “lower interest rates” would only take effect in the future, for new loans, after Obama’s last election. His “campaign” would have no impact on existing student loans.



Obama is nevertheless trying to translate future student loan interest rates into votes in the current presidential election. To do so Obama must get “students” to become a political force in their own right. Obama is trying to politicize student finances so that every future presidential election cycle will include a component appealing to “student” values and economic interests. But who pays the taxes that subsidize affluent students? Working-class Americans. Oh, and “millionaires and billionaires.” Almost forgot.



Republicans have responded with their own statistics. They note recent graduates can’t find jobs in an “Obama economy.” Due to poor job opportunities students are forced to live at home with their parents, in an extended adolescence that may continue into their 30’s. Families and children, housing and economic security must all be postponed, deferred and eventually maybe even denied.



Because the “Depression Generation” is now mostly dead and gone, and because today’s “Boomer” grandparents have always enjoyed a cornucopia of affluence and privilege, there are few who remember when people actually saved for a home or car and waited to get married and start a family until they had sufficient savings to establish a household. Waiting; scrimping and saving; patience and economizing all used to be the norm. Not any more. Under Obama everyone gets a government subsidy. And “free” gratification.



Save? Wait? Patience? Economize? These are not words in today’s student lexicon. Where affluence is the standard, perpetuating dependency has become the norm. Obama does everything he can to encourage government dependency as the sole source of all security and sustenance. Free interest rates? Free birth control? Free whatever. “Just vote for me,” says Obama. “You got it.” And the students eat up this nonsense. And cheer wildly. Like children at a fourth grade school assembly. No wonder Obama will be on the road this weekend, promising more and asking less of today’s students.



So how did Obama become a European socialist?



Obama’s socialist values were implanted during his Hawai’i years. His socialist values stem from three general sources: [1] Obama’s mother, who had a collectivist, socialist, third world mentality; [2] Frank Marshall Davis, who was a communist and may have been Obama’s biological father; and [3] Obama’s experiences at Punahou School in Honolulu where he was forced to interact on a daily basis with the wealthiest children and the most privileged families of Hawai’i.



The financial circumstances of Obama’s grandparents, with whom he lived from the age of 10 to 18, were a far cry from the privileged circumstances of his fellow Punahou students. Resentment anybody?



People often ask me, “Why go back to Hawai’i? Isn’t Obama all in the White House now?” Well, with respect to daily policy, that is correct. But Obama’s mindset, his personality, his psyche, were all formed in Hawai’i. Will Obama succeed in implanting European social values in today’s American university students? He will “succeed” only if he is elected to a second term, if he completely destroys our free enterprise economy and if college graduates become financially desperate and emotionally despondent.

Andy says CNN’s 2008 video of Andy in Honolulu will become a controversial piece of the Obama puzzle and possibly even a part of American television history (a CNN camera crew followed Andy in 2008 in Honolulu)



Andy says the “doubter vote” will decide the 2012 presidential election



(NEW YORK) (April 26, 2012) Will wonders never cease? Early April 25th I issued our “Honolulu Bulletin: Countdown to Honolulu,” announcing my research team would be landing in Hawai’i on May 2nd. Within hours, conservative Author Jerry Corsi published a story announcing that my original 2008 theory about President Barack Obama’s true biological father is now the topic of a new movie by Joel Gilbert. The movie is now being sold on WorldNetDaily.com (link below).



To be entirety clear and precise, I consider Jerry Corsi a friend. But we are friendly competitors. We do not share research and we compete for Obama information. I don’t have any link to WorldNetDaily.com. So, frankly, I was stunned when one of my friends in Chicago notified me of Corsi's new article Wednesday evening (April 25th).



I have not seen Joel Gilbert’s film nor do have any direct link to the film. (As I told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes in 2007, all Obama research stems from my original research.) I am generally aware that “indecent” photos of the president’s mother have been linked to Frank Marshall Davis but I have chosen to avoid some topics involving Obama’s mother such as the sex photos.



Nevertheless, the strange coincidence of my announcement confirming my trip in the morning, and a conservative “endorsement” by late afternoon, both on April 25th, confirms what I have said. My independent research and analysis drives the media crazy and drives the Obama “command” crazy because I have been driving the agenda on Barack Obama for the past eight years, since my original 2004 research on Obama’s grandfather and “Kenyan father,” research that was confirmed just last week by the British government.



Keoki Kerr and I sparred over these issues in 2010 during one of my earlier research trips to Honolulu (see link below-video apparently no longer available from KITV). (Kerr was somewhat confused by my views.)



I was the first independent investigator to land in Honolulu, in 2008, and my presence in Hawai’i and my efforts to interview Obama’s grandmother prompted the then-presidential candidate to turn his campaign plane around and fly to Honolulu to preempt me. Now we know why. I was coming closer to the Rosetta Stone about Mr. Obama’s family history.



My latest visit to Honolulu, next week, may also roil Hawaii’s’ political waters. Governor Linda Lingle, now a candidate for U. S. Senator, was someone who promoted the Obama’s-father-was-Obama on the eve of the 2008 election. Lingle consistently frustrated and denied my efforts to find the facts and search for the truth about Obama’s family history. Lingle helped make bad law in Honolulu on the issue of public accessibility to Honolulu’s historical records (see link below to history of the controversy, ObamaReleaseYourRecords).

We’ll have some new bombshell disclosures of our own both before we leave and in Honolulu after we arrive there. What is amazing to me is the way President Obama has kept doubts about his parentage alive by refusing to be forthright and candid with an honest and independent historical researcher such as myself. All I have ever searched for is the truth, and all I have ever tried to find is the facts about “Obama in Hawaii.” By delaying my efforts and seeking to block my research. Obama has done continuing damage to his on credibility.



I do not believe I exaggerate when I state, unequivocally, that the “doubter” vote, i.e. persons who have doubts about President Obama but may not subscribe to “Birther theories,” is going to be the “swing vote” that swings the 2012 presidential election.



Stay tuned for more bombshells. Not just from me, but from other conservatives that follow and monitor my own research and, in the case of the new “Frank Marshall Davis movie,” have now validated and confirmed my own prior research and supported my original investigation in Honolulu. Unlike Obama's mainstream media sycophants, for the past eight years I have been 100% correct in researching and writing about President Obama. No one else can match that record of historical accomplishment and accuracy.

HONOLULU NEWS CONFERENCE TUESDAY: Hawaii’ is Al-Qaeda target

Obamacon 2012 Chairman Andy Martin will hold one of his legendary Chicago-style “Bunker Buster” news conferences in Honolulu today, Tuesday November 16th, to release the result of his own independent analysis of terrorist threats to Hawai’i.

(HONOLULU)(November 16, 2010) Obama conference leader, author and film producer Andy Martin will hold a Honolulu news conference this afternoon, November 16th, to question whether Hawai’i officials take the threat of terrorism seriously. Martin says the reaction to the recent arrest of Abdel Shehadeh reflects complacency which is not warranted by the available circumstantial evidence. Martin says “Al-Qaeda in Hawai’i” is targeting President Barack Obama when he visits Honolulu. In Chicago Martin is well-known for using “Bunker Buster” news conferences to explode public complacency and to highlight major new revelations.

“The response of the FBI to the arrest of Abdel Shehadeh in Honolulu was kind of interesting” Martin says. “The FBI said there was ‘no evidence of a terrorist plot targeting the Hawaiian islands in this case…’

“We have taken a long, hard look at Hawai’i and feel that it almost certainly will be the next terrorist target for Al-Qaeda.

“Unlike some people who study terrorism, I do not see local Muslims as the enemy. I see them as a resource in fighting extremism. People have a right to worship in peace. President George Bush made that clear. He was completely correct. We must protect that right. But everyone also has a civic duty, Muslims included, to assist in protecting the community from violent attacks on our society.

“Local Muslims were concerned by Mr. Shehadeh’s activity as well they should have been. They must remain on alert.

“Before Hawaiians forget about Mr. Shehadeh, however, we need to revisit his case. Shehadeh was spending $3,000 a month in rent for a Manoa residence. That money was obviously not coming from him. There was an attempt in the media to portray Shehadeh as a hapless terrorist-wannabe. But no one has explained who was footing the bill for the de facto ‘Al-Qaeda in Hawai’i’ terrorist headquarters at 3361 Huelani Drive.

“Who paid the rent at 3361 Huelani drive? Honolulu media have not pursued that question. They are asleep. What does the landlord at 3361 know about Shehadeh? Silence.

“If Shehadeh was a terrorist ‘Sad Sack,’ as media have portrayed him, who was paying for all of his travel? We don't know. His family denies any involvement. Again, no explanation has surfaced for his access to cash. Federal authorities have confirmed that Shehadeh was part of a group. But we don’t yet know if that group has already been prosecuted, or if it is still under observation. Many questions remain.

“Based on my extensive analysis of this case in New York and Honolulu, and my experience with the world of terrorism generally, I would like to put forward our hypothesis.

“First, Hawai’i is a ‘high value, low risk’ terrorist target precisely because locals do not take the threat of an attack seriously.

“Second, the fact that Shehadeh was being maintained at an expensive residence, and seeking to burrow into the University of Hawai’i community, is as of yet unexplained significance.

“Third, President Obama was probably the target of this preliminary assessment into what I characterize as ‘Al-Qaeda in Hawai’i.’

“We have taken an extensive look at Obama’s Christmas rental home in Kailua where he has stayed for the past couple of years. The place is not particularly well protected. We have a photo archive of the ‘Obama Hawai’i White House’ which we took in the off-season. Anyone else could have done the same. President Clinton used to stay at a military facility on his visits. Obama is much more visible and exposed in Kailua. Has the federal government accurately evaluated the threat to the president inherent in his relative openness in Hawai’i?

“The irony in all of this is that most Americans are irritated at Obama for what they believe is his groveling to Islamic interests. But Islamic extremists despise Obama for exactly the opposite reason: Obama has pretty faithfully carried on the Bush war against terrorism. In an interview on Al-Jazeera during the 2008 election I was asked what Obama’s policy would be towards the war in Afghanistan.

“My other panelists were shocked to hear me predict that there would be more, not fewer, predator drones in the air once Obama moved into the White House. I was, of course, completely correct.

“Last week Obama began to leak elements of his ‘revised’ AfPak policy, which calls for substantial combat operations through 2014. My remarks today are analytical, not political. While I am a critic of Obama’s overall approach to government, it is hard to accuse him of starving the AfPak region of military resources. Military people always knew the July, 2011 withdrawal promise was a chimera. {NOTE: Obama's latest AfPak policy modifications may reflect his awareness of a one-term presidency; you saw it here first.] Obama’s attacks must be driving Al-Qaeda batty.

“The result: I fully believe that Al-Qaeda is going to be ramping up its efforts and energy to attack Obama personally. That is why I view the Shehadeh case and the unspoken aspect of his activity in the islands as a critical security risk to the State of Hawai’i. Whether we support or oppose Obama we need to ensure that he is protected.

“The bottom line: Hawaiians need to wake up and face reality: the islands are very possibly the next target of a terrorist attack against the United States. If I had to bet on where Al-Qaeda will strike next, my money would be on a strike in this region,” Martin will state. “Local authorities need to take the threat of an attack much more seriously than they are.”

(HONOLULU)(November 15, 2010) Obamacon 2012 Honolulu conference leader Andy Martin will hold a news conference this morning, Monday November 15th, to comment on Linda Lingle’s “California dreamin’” that she has a future role in the national Republican Party. Martin predicts that on December 6th when she leaves office, Lingle is through as a national Republican.

“Normally I would not comment on a local Hawaiian issue,” Martin says. “I am here on a terrorism investigation and an Obama conference. But I have been reading local reports that Linda Lingle thinks she has a future as a national Republican Party leader. Pardon me, but that’s simply ‘California dreamin’. Lingle is delusional.
“I would never suggest to Hawaiian voters whom they should elect as their local officials (including national offices). Overall, Hawai’i voters have shown a unique propensity to take their wealthy state and to beggar their own economy. I expect more of the same from proto-socialist Governor Neil Abercrombie. Hawaii’s wealth is being frittered away in high taxes and socialist programs that are not sustainable, not even in the short term. As a one-party state, the concept of checks and balances is nonexistent.

“Lingle had eight years to build a sold base for the Republican Party. She failed.

“But Lingle’s failure to grow the Republican Party during eight years in office is not why I think she is through nationally.

“Other than John McCain, who ran a pathetic and incompetent campaign for president in 2008, Lingle did more to elect Barack Obama than any other Democrat.

“Lingle’s dirty tricks on the last weekend of the 2008 campaign, when she told Chiyome Fukino to go out and tell the Associated Press that Hawai’i had Obama’s ‘original’ birth certificate and he was ‘legal,’ was a political dirty trick of the first order.

“The Lingle-Fukino axis has kept on trying to rehabilitate Obama as questions about Hawai’i public records have grown into a national obsession. Instead of releasing Obama’s birth certificate after the election, since the original document had obviously become a national archive of the presidency after the election, Lingle has continued to fight in court to prevent release of Obama's records with the bogus claim that Obama is a ‘private citizen.’

“Lingle also signed the Obama ‘Birther’ bill. That law only became necessary because of her own conspiratorial cover-up activity. Lingle has triggered intense national frustration because of her corruption and manipulation of Hawai’i government to protect the ‘Mysterious Mr. Obama.’

“Republicans are not stupid. They are aware that Lingle bolstered Obama just hours before the 2008 election because she was for Obama despite her nominal endorsement of McCain. If Lingle had released Obama’s birth certificate, we would not be facing the constitutional crisis that exists today, where 100 million Americans have doubts about Obama’s origins. There are serious doubts that Obama is constitutionally eligible to hold the office of president. I place a major part of the responsibility for this mess on Lingle’s doorstep.

“We have the ridiculous situation where today’s Star Advertiser (November 15th) has a story saying UH is fighting for the Obama presidential library, when there is not even a simple plaque anywhere in Hawai'i to memorialize the physical structure where Obama was born:

“No one can say for certain where Obama was born, if he was in fact born in Hawai’i, because there is no public documentation of his birth here. Obama’s birth is shrouded in lies, all of which have been orchestrated and controlled by Lingle’s manipulation of her power as governor.

“The Tea Party does not control the Republican Party. But Tea Party activists are vocal, and they are waiting to have a whack at Lingle. Just ask party officials in Delaware, Colorado, Nevada and elsewhere, states where Tea Party activism took down establishment candidates.

“Tea Party activists will not allow Lingle to ascend to a national role when she was Barack Obama’s saboteur inside the Republican Party in 2008. Payback time is coming for Ms. Lingle; her dirty tricks against democracy and transparency will doom any future national role or support for her once she leaves office on December 6th.

“Be real Linda. Be real. You carried water for Obama and helped elect him in 2008. You helped stick us with the clown in the White House. You have continued to conceal his birth certificate to defraud the American people and to allow a political fraud to reside in the White House.

“Your career as a Republican is over on December 6th. If you run for the senate, I will see to it you have a conservative opponent,” Martin will state.

“Because I am in Honolulu I just had to tell the people of Hawai’i Linda Lingle is delusional. She should not take a 6-month vacation, she should take a permanent vacation from the Republican Party. Maybe Obama will give her a job. She helped elect him.

“Why is there a total lack of any reasonable introspection and examination of Lingle’s nonsense in the local Hawai'i media? Why do media parrot Lingle’s daydreams as rational political discourse? This state is not only a one-party socialist republic; it is a state devoid of any meaningful and intelligent media activity.”

(NEW YORK)(October 1, 2010) Before I explain why Barack Obama is a Muslim let me get the “Muslim issue” out of the way. There is nothing wrong or evil about Islam. There are over a billion peaceful adherents of Islam throughout the world. There are aspects of Islam’s sacred texts that are deeply anti-democratic and its extremist supporters use Islamic pronouncements as a pretext to conceal their own political goals. But if you applied a similar standard to Christianity, and took every word Jesus says in the Bible literally, Christians would look a little fruity too.

But Islam, like Christianity, has its place. In the mosque, not the halls of government. It is precisely when religious leaders try to influence and control politics and enforce their religious dogma as government policy that religion becomes controversial and contemptible. That is the challenge most Muslims face today: to take back their religion from the hustlers and terrorists who have violated the peaceful tenets of their religion. In hindsight, even liberals now reluctantly admit that President George Bush was right on religion. Islam is not our enemy.

And so, no, this column is not an anti-Islam rant and I have no plans to burn any Muslim texts although I believe that constitutionally we should be as free to burn Islamic books as we are to incinerate the Bible or other holy writs.

Six years ago I wrote what in retrospect has become possibly become the most influential piece of opinion journalism in recent history. I collected my ideas and research and explained at a New York news conference why Barack Obama was a Muslim. In the following six years I have been brutally assaulted by the mainstream media. My writing touched a nerve during the 2008 campaign. The New York Times responded by trying to demonize me by putting me on page one and making me one of their “most important stories of the day,” all with a bunch of lies and distortions.

My writing also started a wildfire that has yet to be extinguished by either Barack Obama’s spin doctors and his own lies.

So what is all this “Muslim business” about? It is time to go back to first principles and reacquaint readers with what I have written in the past, what I have researched and what I believe about Obama’s religious beliefs.

During the 2008 presidential campaign I called Barack Obama the “World’s Greatest Entertainer.” I viewed Obama’s campaign trope as nothing more than skillfully presented entertainment. Americans were frustrated and disappointed with George Bush and the Republicans, as they had every right to be; voters were looking for some diversion from the mess the Bush years had created in Washington. Obama was the perfect entertainer. He diverted and channeled our disappointments into his own political pocket.

Obama’s nightclub act was pure painlessness. He told us “we” were the solution. “Hope,” “change” and reform without any cost, without any sacrifice, without any consequences.

People were offended when I called Obama an “entertainer” but his bag of political tricks was nothing more than entertainment. Lots of actors play doctors on TV; I wouldn’t count on them to perform surgery in a real hospital. People were desperate to believe in “Dr. Hope and Change.” They confused “acting” with “leading.”

By elevating “hope” and “change” over reality, they elected Obama, someone who portrayed a doctor, to actually “practice” medicine to cure what ailed America. The result is the disaster we face today.

Obama’s six years of denials that he is a Muslim have only made people believe even more ardently that Obama is a Muslim. That says something about his lost entertainment skills. (I predicted that change of heart would take place as well.) Almost a hundred million Americans now question who Obama is, and what he believes.

Why is Obama an “entertainer?” Entertainers suspend our belief. As noted, they portray doctors, and warriors, persons with caring and concern, people who can save us and serve us. That's why people pay ten or twelve dollars to be amused at the movies, or more for a nightclub act or Broadway play.

But most entertainers, and especially the great ones, are conflicted people. They are alienated individuals. They entertain because they project outwardly the turmoil in their inner spirits. Thus is it so with Obama. His bizarre life spectacle and his upside down upbringing are what make him a great entertainer. His soul is tormented. By his own admission he grew up frustrated, alienated, confused. Ironically, but inescapably, the very factors that make Obama a great entertainer also make him a lousy leader.

This week Obama was at it again, profusely professing his Christianity. But in the midst of peddling his “Christianity” Obama inadvertently dropped in another one of his favorite memes, that his mother was one of the most “spiritual people” he has encountered. Effortlessly, almost guilelessly, Obama segued--the way entertainers do--from religion to “spirituality.”

But spirituality, like religion, is a coat of many colors. Just what spirituality did Anne Dunham possess? What spirituality did she hand down to her son Barack Obama?

In the not too distant past, I had a girl friend who thought she was spiritual. And, unlike Obama, she even attended church. But in addition to her spirituality she had an unfortunate aspect to her personality, which is why she is a former girl friend. In practice there was little spirituality to her shtick. Sometimes she and a bunch of other women would get together to talk about spirituality and light candles, incense and who knows what else. My point: “spiritual” people are not always dealing with the Holy Spirit or religious denominations as we commonly think of them. People often lie to themselves.

Obama’s mother appears to have fallen into the “spiritual but not religious” category. One of my friendly competitors as an author, Jerry Corsi, has examined some aspects of Obama’s mother’s confused and conflicted spirit in more detail than I believe most of us want to read. It is sufficient to say Anne Dunham’s “spirituality” was something out of the wacky, drug-crazed 60’s and 70’s. It was self-referential spirituality, not genuine religious spirituality.

Moving one step further, we often hear the term “spiritual leader” used to describe a religious leader. The two are not the same. And no one has ever confused the “spirituality” of people like Obama’s mother with being the spiritual leader of a religious denomination.

Then there is the White House. The presidency of the United States is a secular, not spiritual, position. When politicians start talking about spirituality, count your change. They are usually trying to use “spirituality” to disguise their secular policy failures.

But having said the White House is not a spiritual see, I want to reverse myself in record time and say that the American president is a spiritual leader. Our president guards and exemplifies “the American Spirit.” The White House is the repository of our value system as Americans. The “American spirit” is what makes us a great people and a great nation. We put our trust in trust leaders who we believe will exemplify the American Spirit and protect our spiritual values as a nation.

Alas, the World's Greatest Entertainer is no guardian of the Americans Spirit. Obama does not even believe in one of the prime tenets of our secular spirituality: American exceptionalism. He has gone so far as to denigrate American exceptionalism. How long would the Pope last if he stood up in Rome and said Catholics were a bunch of phonies? About as long as the Obama Dynasty has lasted in Washington. Not long. That is why people now reject Obama’s “spirituality” and question his Muslim/Christian/whatever religious roots.

So what is a religion? What distinguishes a Christian from a Muslim or a Jew; a Buddhist from a Hindu? All of these belief systems embody both a structure of religious beliefs and believers who practice their beliefs on a daily or weekly basis. There are exceptions, of course. Jews see some congregants only on High Holy Days; some “Christians” magically manage to appear in church for Christmas and Easter. But we accept them. And they profess openly and outwardly their adherence to our beliefs. Jesus is Lord. Yahweh is coming. The Prophet is the true messenger. And so on.

Obama was raised in the Muslim, not Christian, religion. The Jesuits say, “Give us a boy until the age of 7 and we have him for life.” The Muslims had Obama until the age of 10, when he began to live full-time with his grandparents.

Try as he might, Obama cannot disguise or discard his Muslim roots. But despite the facts Obama went so far as to deny his father was a Muslim, even though Obama the father was buried as a Muslim and his father was also a Muslim. A point that is often forgotten is that Obama’s “Kenyan grandfather” was himself a convert to Islam.

Why is conversion such a critical issue? Because converts are often the most attentive individuals in pursuing their newly adopted religious beliefs. Converts don’t inherit a religion from their parents; they consciously choose one as adults. Choice is what distinguishes converts from people who obtain religion (as we say in the Episcopal Church in the “cradle”) through birth. Obama claims he is a convert to Christianity, but in the next breath he tells us paid no attention to the sermons or doctrine of his spiritual leader, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, for the twenty years after his conversion. He even denies that his "spiritual leader" Reverend Jeremiah Wright was his spiritual leader. Huh?

In Obama’s heart he hears the call of the Muezzin, not the Cantor’s call or church choir’s chorus:

Religious beliefs are deeply embedded in children. My father was Anglican (Episcopalian). My mother was Greek Orthodox. I was raised in the Greek Orthodox faith until I went to college. I would never deny that I am Greek Orthodox any more than I would pretend to practice that faith today. I chose the Anglican-Episcopalian side of the family but I recognize both.

Obama’s constant efforts to focus on a vague “choice” he claims to have made in his 20’s to become a Christian are misleading. Throughout his childhood Obama was psychologically and emotionally saturated with Islam and Islamic culture. For him to deny these roots is to deny his very character, his psyches, his “spiritual” home.

But having convinced you why you can believe that Obama is Muslim, I will now proceed to punch holes in my own argument and explain to you why Obama may be a Muslim who is not a Muslim. Unlike Judaism, where religion is transmitted matriarchally by the mother, under Islam religion is transmitted partriarchally through the father.

But I am not sure at all that Obama is Obama’s son. My research expeditions to Hawai’i (see below for the next one beginning November 9th) have convinced me that Anne Dunham concocted the “Barack Obama is your father” fairy tale to conceal the fact that Frank Marshall Davis, an exponentially more appealing and interesting character but, alas, a married man with a family, was really the biological parent of our president.

Indeed, my theory is that it is precisely because those closest to him lied about his parentage that Obama is such a tortured human being. Young Obama knew “Frank,” but he never knew him as “dad.” And Frank died before the lie could be revealed. The secret had been kept during Frank Marshall Davis’ lifetime. And so, while Obama is undeniably a Muslim in spirit, he may not be one by blood. Nevertheless, the religious beliefs of his childhood trump the reality of his genes. He is a Muslim.

Only Obama and maybe one or two others (maybe no one) know the truth. And Obama hasn’t been willing to take the American people into his confidence. He does not trust the American Spirit of tolerance, acceptance and forgiveness, because he was not raised as an American. And for that we have Anne Dunham to thank or condemn.

In the meantime, Obama’s Muslim roots are what make him what he is today: confused, conflicted and contradictory. He can no more escape who he is than we can escape what he is: a failed leader who has disgraced and devalued the American spirit.
