(NEW YORK) (April 26, 2012) Will wonders never cease? Early April 25th I issued our “Honolulu Bulletin: Countdown to Honolulu,” announcing my research team would be landing in Hawai’i on May 2nd. Within hours, conservative Author Jerry Corsi published a story announcing that my original 2008 theory about President Barack Obama’s true biological father is now the topic of a new movie by Joel Gilbert. The movie is now being sold on WorldNetDaily.com (link below).



To be entirety clear and precise, I consider Jerry Corsi a friend. But we are friendly competitors. We do not share research and we compete for Obama information. I don’t have any link to WorldNetDaily.com. So, frankly, I was stunned when one of my friends in Chicago notified me of Corsi's new article Wednesday evening (April 25th).



I have not seen Joel Gilbert’s film nor do have any direct link to the film. (As I told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes in 2007, all Obama research stems from my original research.) I am generally aware that “indecent” photos of the president’s mother have been linked to Frank Marshall Davis but I have chosen to avoid some topics involving Obama’s mother such as the sex photos.



Nevertheless, the strange coincidence of my announcement confirming my trip in the morning, and a conservative “endorsement” by late afternoon, both on April 25th, confirms what I have said. My independent research and analysis drives the media crazy and drives the Obama “command” crazy because I have been driving the agenda on Barack Obama for the past eight years, since my original 2004 research on Obama’s grandfather and “Kenyan father,” research that was confirmed just last week by the British government.



Keoki Kerr and I sparred over these issues in 2010 during one of my earlier research trips to Honolulu (see link below-video apparently no longer available from KITV). (Kerr was somewhat confused by my views.)



I was the first independent investigator to land in Honolulu, in 2008, and my presence in Hawai’i and my efforts to interview Obama’s grandmother prompted the then-presidential candidate to turn his campaign plane around and fly to Honolulu to preempt me. Now we know why. I was coming closer to the Rosetta Stone about Mr. Obama’s family history.



My latest visit to Honolulu, next week, may also roil Hawaii’s’ political waters. Governor Linda Lingle, now a candidate for U. S. Senator, was someone who promoted the Obama’s-father-was-Obama on the eve of the 2008 election. Lingle consistently frustrated and denied my efforts to find the facts and search for the truth about Obama’s family history. Lingle helped make bad law in Honolulu on the issue of public accessibility to Honolulu’s historical records (see link below to history of the controversy, ObamaReleaseYourRecords).

We’ll have some new bombshell disclosures of our own both before we leave and in Honolulu after we arrive there. What is amazing to me is the way President Obama has kept doubts about his parentage alive by refusing to be forthright and candid with an honest and independent historical researcher such as myself. All I have ever searched for is the truth, and all I have ever tried to find is the facts about “Obama in Hawaii.” By delaying my efforts and seeking to block my research. Obama has done continuing damage to his on credibility.



I do not believe I exaggerate when I state, unequivocally, that the “doubter” vote, i.e. persons who have doubts about President Obama but may not subscribe to “Birther theories,” is going to be the “swing vote” that swings the 2012 presidential election.



Stay tuned for more bombshells. Not just from me, but from other conservatives that follow and monitor my own research and, in the case of the new “Frank Marshall Davis movie,” have now validated and confirmed my own prior research and supported my original investigation in Honolulu. Unlike Obama's mainstream media sycophants, for the past eight years I have been 100% correct in researching and writing about President Obama. No one else can match that record of historical accomplishment and accuracy.

Martin plans to accuse both Lingle and Hawai’i Department of Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino of deliberately deceiving the American people. Martin will hold his news conference outside the Governor’s office on the 5th floor of the Hawai’i State Capitol.

“It seems that every time I come to Honolulu and start investigating and litigating, some surprising new development takes place,” Martin says. “When I came to Honolulu in 2008, within hours Barack Obama suspended his campaign and followed me to Hawai’i. Was Obama possibly trying to stop me from interviewing his grandmother? After a judge set a hearing on the release of Obama’s birth certificate, in response to a lawsuit I had filed, Linda Lingle now admits that she secretly got Dr. Chiyome Fukino to falsely claim Fukino had acted alone in vouching for Obama’s hidden birth certificate on the eve of the 2008 election.

“Hawai’i officials are making a farce out of their stewardship of Obama’s original birth certificate,” Martin charges. “Last Friday I announced I would sue Lingle over her role in the ‘Birther Nation’ controversy. “Lingle may have realized we were closing in on her ‘Hawai’i Five-0’-style and she decided to confess before we exposed her. The drama of her confessing 1-1/2 years later that it was Lingle, not Fukino, who initiated the birth certificate review and clandestinely directed Fukino to issue a statement supporting Obama, is high drama. These latest facts couldn’t even be a script on ‘Five-0;’ they are surreal: after becoming aware through KITV-TV that I was closing in on her, Lingle confessed. To a radio rabbi.

“Every time I come to Hawai’i, strange things start to happen. What’s next?” Martin will ask at his news conference. “Governor Lingle has refused to meet with me. Now I know why. She views me as a later-day McGarrett, relentlessly investigating Obama and single-mindedly pursuing the facts about Obama’s birth certificate. Only this time the ‘real’ governor is behind the fraud, whereas in Five-0 the fictional governor is committed to the truth. How’s that for a twist?

“It is high time Lingle released the secret birth certificate—the typewritten, 1961 document that she has repeatedly manipulated without allowing the public to see—before she is further embarrassed by her role in this growing scandal. It is time for Linda Lingle, now a self-confessed liar and fraudster, to stop deceiving the American people.

It’s not too late for more arrivals from the west coast.” Martin says. “Ironically, recent independent polls orchestrated by mainstream media confirm that public interest remains very high, and growing, concerning our investigative activity on the circumstances of Obama’s birth. The veil of secrecy imposed by Hawai’i officials only whets Americans’ appetites to know what Governor Linda Lingle, Attorney General Mark Bennett and other Democrats are hiding.

“The mainstream media call people who question Obama’s birth ‘birthers,’ and we will be presenting some commentary on that term in an extended series of columns over the weekend. The definition of ‘birther’ is itself in dispute. I have been called the ‘King of the Birthers' even though I have consistently stated I believe Obama was born somewhere in Hawai’i. What is Linda Lingle hiding? And why? To claim that the original ‘ribbon copy’ birth certificate of an American president is a secret document is, with all due respect an absurd position and an insult to the intelligence of the American people. Mark Bennett is just an Obama stooge doing Obama’s bidding in hiding the truth about Obama’s opaque origins in Hawai’i.

“Hawai’i is a virtual ‘Mafia State’ in which vital archives of American history have been concealed from the American people. Punahou School should also make its own Obama archive available to scholars and writers.

“The fact that real Americans are willing to fly to Hawai’i and put themselves up at their own expense to volunteer in our field investigations tells you something about enduring interest in the secret cache of documents Hawaii leaders and educators are concealing from the American people,” Martin says.

Martin will hold a news conference today in Honolulu as the last stop before he files a new lawsuit against Hawai’i officials. “Nearly half the population has doubts about Barack Obama’s ‘origins,’” Martin says. “That is not my ‘poll.’ That is the result of polls by independent mainstream media. But no one except me is asking Hawai’i officials the hard questions and no one but me is suing Hawai’i officials to force them to disgorge the truth.

“Mark Bennett’s claim that he and Lingle can impose ‘executive privilege’ which is ‘executive secrecy,’ on the entire State of Hawaii’s internal communications is a joke. There is no support for such a claim in Hawai’i law, and specifically none in the UIPA which governs freedom of information issues in Hawai’i. Bennett is acting as an Obama stooge, waiting for his payoff for concealing vital information from the American people.

“I was flabbergasted when Bennett stonewalled my UIPA [Hawai’i Uniform Information Procedures Act] request. He sat on it for over 6 months, and then delivered nothing but a pile of nonsense, for which he demanded $600 in advance. What arrogance, what contempt for the American people, what an insult to American history. Either Hawai’i officials are concealing Obama’s records because they are crooks or jerks. Which is it?

“Today, April 30th, I am going to give Mr. Bennett a final opportunity to obey Hawai’i law before I file suit, and I am then going to march to the Governor’s office and deliver a request to meet with her over Obama’s files and the legislature’s new ‘birther law.’ The American people want answers about Barack Obama’s history in this state. It is high time Hawai’i officials started providing them, and stopped stonewalling. They are making a mockery of our nation,” Martin says.

Dear Governor Lingle,
General Bennett, and
Dr. Fukino:

As you are no doubt aware, I have filed a lawsuit in the Circuit Court for the First District in Honolulu seeking access to the original 1961 files concerning Barack Obama’s Certificate of Live Birth (“COLB”)(birth certificate).

This letter is meant to address three matters:

1. I am formally renewing my request for access to the original, typewritten 1961 COLB/birth certificate, so that there is no question that a formal request has been made and received by your offices. If that document as amended in any way, I demand access to the complete file. Michelle Obama has been quoted (I don’t know how accurately) as saying her husband was “adopted” at some point.

2. This letter is meant to place you on notice that I believe Dr. Fukino's statements to the media on Friday, October 31st concerning the original, typewritten 1961 COLB waived any secrecy concerning the original COLB because she specifically invited or solicited news coverage and invited commentary and attention on the document.

3. I am also submitting a request pursuant to the Hawai’i Uniform Information Practices Act (“UIPA”), HRS § 92F-1 et seq. for communications to and from your offices concerning the COLB with persons outside your offices and media, as well as your inter-office communications concerning the matter of the COLB.

I.

FORMAL REQUEST FOR ACCESS TO THE FULL AND COMPLETE
AND ORIGINAL 1961 OBAMA COLB AS WELL AS ANY AMENDMENTS

I sent a request for this file several months ago. My request and my check were returned with a form reply that I was not entitled to access. This letter formally and legally renews my request. (The $10 will be submitted by overnight mail as soon as you notify me the document(s) is available.)

I seek access for the reasons set forth in greater detail in my pending lawsuit: namely as an author, scholar and writer concerning Mr. Obama. I am writing a second book on him.

I believe that Hawai’i officials have misconstrued the terms of the relevant statute, asserting that some sort of blood relationship is required before disclosure is permitted, when the statutory language clearly does not pretermit that interpretation. In fairness, the Attorney General has not yet made public such an unfounded assertion. (The AG, however, appears to have issued “guidance” to the Department of Health, which would be discoverable under Part III, infra, see Chicago Tribune, October 30, 2008 [attached] that is palpably in conflict with the statutory language.)

II.

DR. FUKINO’S STATEMENTS ON OCTOBER 31ST

October 31st Dr. Fukino made a number of public statements concerning the COLB documents I am seeking to access. I use the plural because the original COLB may have been amended; we don’t know, which is why access is essential: to end the speculation and establish the facts.

In my opinion, Dr. Fukino’s public statements about a secret document (the original 1961 COLB) may have waived the confidentiality provisions of the statute. I don’t think a public official can play gotcha with secret information and make public references to a document while denying access to the same document so the public can make an independent determination and comparison, see e.g. “The scope of a statutory privilege, however, is tempered by the principle that " 'privileges preventing disclosure of relevant evidence are not favored and may often give way to a strong public interest.' " State v. L.J.P., 270 N.J.Super. 429, 637 A.2d 532, 537 (1994) State v. Peseti, 101 Hawai’i 172, 65 P.3rd 119, 127 (Hawai’i 2003).

Therefore, I would ask that you reconsider your original refusal to release my requested information in light of Dr. Fukino’s public statements and de facto waiver on Friday.

III.

ADDITIONAL REQUEST PURSUANT TO HAWAI’I UNIFORM INFORMATION PRACTICES ACT FOR INTER-OFFICE AND EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS CONCERNING THE COLB/BIRTH CERTIFICATE ISSUE

On Friday, when Dr. Fukino issued a statement, did she coordinate with the Attorney General before she made her claims?

I would like all correspondence or e-mails or other forms of communication between the Attorney General and the Governor’s office, Dr. Fukino’s office or any other Executive Department office.

I would also like copies of all records of contacts between your offices and persons or media organizations outside Hawai’i state government. For example, and not by way of limitation, Governor Lingle apparently received a request from Jerome Corsi and denied it; I would like all correspondence to or from Jerome Corsi and any other media or individuals and either the Governor, Health Department or any other Executive Department.

Janice Okubo has apparently disseminated great deal of information in her capacity as a media relations contact. All of these contacts must be produced under the UIPA.

Dr. Fukino communicated with the media, and possibly the Governor and Attorney general, about these issues. I am asking for the records of any and all such contacts. I am requesting all such correspondence in any form. This request should be deemed to be all-inclusive: as to contacts or communication between Corsi or any and all other persons or media, and the Executive Departments.

Dr. Fukino issued a statement on Friday. I would like a copy of her formal statement, as well as an indication to whom it was issued. I would like any correspondence between Dr. Fukino’s office and the Governor’s office or Attorney General’s office concerning any aspect of the COLB or the pending birth certificate lawsuit.

There also appears to have been some media manipulation going on. Janice Okubo stated that “it looks exactly the same as my own birth certificate,” Chicago Tribune, October 30, 2008 [attached]. That is a misleading statement. Does Obama’s 1961 original look exactly like Okubo’s? Or does her facsimile look like his?

I am just digging for the facts and the truth about Mr. Obama. I hope you will join me in this enterprise. Mr. Obama has a unique way of discrediting himself, and Dr. Fukino may have inadvertently helped Obama create new suspicious about his behavior involving the COLB. When I was in Honolulu last month with my investigative team, and Obama suddenly appeared, many people thought he was reacting to my investigation of his past and parentage. Others scoffed at that interpretation. Today, after the miraculous recovery of his grandmother, almost everyone believes Obama used his grandmother as a beard to engage in manipulation concerning his COLB and related issues involving potential embarrassment. Your own integrity and behavior has now been clouded by Obama’s apparent manipulation and your subsequent conduct in seeking to assist him in orchestrating vital information about his birth.

Thus, I hope the forgoing are a comprehensive series of requests for everything that exists concerning Hawai’i state government and the Obama COLB. Let’s stop manipulating the facts and truth, and put all of them in the public arena where they belong.

Because we are dealing with public offices, and public trusts, I do not believe any correspondence may be exempted on the grounds that it leads to an invasion of privacy or that any common law privilege applies to the requested communications. Mr. Obama has publicized a form of his COLB, so he himself has also waived any privacy concerns concerning comparisons with the original material. Obama can’t manipulate the facts any more than Dr. Fukino can make partial, self-serving and incomplete statements concerning vital documents [see attached “Fox News”].

Dr. Fukino has openly discussed the document and invited widespread interest in the 1961 material. She solicited attention for Hawai’i government materials on the eve of the national election. A clearer case for waiver of privacy/secrecy would be hard to conceive.

In other words, in this letter, in addition to access to the original 1961 document itself (Part I) I am also seeking access to records of contacts which each of you has had with (i) the outside world (news media, citizens, etc.) and (ii) among yourselves concerning either my lawsuit or the issue of the Obama birth certificate itself (this Part III).
