Accusing the Manchester Union Leader of engaging in “Soviet-style ‘journalism’” by “erasing” his campaign for U. S. Senator, New Hampshire Republican Party leader and U. S. Senate candidate Andy Martin will go to court on Tuesday, October 15th and file suit against various recalcitrant media that are publishing false information about the 2014 campaign. “The communists used to publish photographs and new reports ‘erasing’ people from pictures and stories when they did not want to confirm the existence of the erased people,” Andy says. “Today some New Hampshire media are following in the Soviet-style tradition by erasing my campaign. Love me or hate me, I am in the U. S. Senate race. New Hampshire cannot be a world class state when it is undermined by bush league journalism. If New Hampshire Republicans had a winning streak, maybe people could question my candidacy. But the current approach of New Hampshire Republicans has led to decades of losing elections and decades of party erosion. I have the experience to present a new approach, and to offer a hard-hitting challenge to Jeanne Shaheen. Local media that want to act as ‘Shills for Shaheen’ will be taken to court,” Andy says. “Why does my candidacy strike fear in the heart of John DiStaso and other biased media that are trying to ‘erase’ my campaign?”

DEFAMATION NOTICE: Request for retraction and correction

Dear Mr. Tabor:

On September 25^th SeacostOnline.com (and presumably your print edition) published a story containing the false claim referring to my current primary opponent as “the first GOP candidate to announce his run for the U. S. Senate…”

That was a factually incorrect statement. I announced in May, I am a fully legally qualified candidate, and I have been campaigning actively. I hope to begin broadcast advertising later this month.

New Hampshire law contains provisions for “defamation by implication,” which covers incorrect factual claims tending to disparage the true facts. I think your false claim falls squarely within New Hampshire “defamation by implication” case law.

Tuesday, October 15th I will be filing suit against media that have made similar false claims. I am not sure if these errors are due to personal hostility against me, or incompetent media performance. The Union Leader will also be named; in the case of John DiStaso he is merely a mouthpiece for Jeanne Shaheen and he has deliberately and intentionally sought to undermine my candidacy. DiStaso can express his own malignant opinions; but he cannot publish false facts and seek to erase my candidacy from the election. The UL is being untrue to the Loeb tradition.

I can’t tell you how deleterious it is to the credibility of the print media, and media in general, when you try, Soviet-style (they used to erase people from pictures) to erase the existence of a candidate from the election. Whether you approve or disapprove of my candidacy, you can’t simply deny I exist and then deliberately or negligently publish false facts. You do a disservice to your readers when you seek to mislead them.

I have done the legal research. If you want to pay your attorneys to duplicate my research, please have at it.

I have a very distinguished record of public service, and I offer New Hampshire Republicans – who have been losing to Democrats for decades – a new and realistic option to recapture a U. S. Senate seat.

I obviously can’t predict what the court will do, but I have done my due diligence and feel we have a strong case for some relief.

I would respectfully request that you publish a prominent and visible retraction and correction and, if you wish, apology, for reporting false information to your readers. Failing same you will be named a defendant on October 15h.

Republican foreign policy expert and New Hampshire corruption-fighter Andy Martin “blew the whistle” on Benghazi-gate on September 12th. Before anyone else in government or politics would come to Governor Mitt Romney’s defense, Andy Martin stood up and stood out and defended Romney’s criticism of the Obama regime. (Manchester, NH) (October 14, 2012) Republican Party foreign policy expert and New Hampshire activist Andy Martin was the first foreign policy analyst to defend Governor Mitt Romney and to disclose the domestic political impact of the September 11th attacks on the U. S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. His views:

I. The long history of conflict between Barack and Andy

In 2004 I wrote the first disclosure that Barack Obama’s “autobiography” was mostly fiction. I asked the publisher to put Obama’s book on the “fiction” shelves, not the biography section. Obama was very irritated that I had scored a bull’s eye on his credibility. During the 2008 presidential campaign I disclosed major new aspects of Obama’s “hidden history,” culminating in a national appearance on “Sean Hannity’s America” where I accused Obama of being a “socialist” (link below). I was the first independent investigator to go to Hawai’i to dig for the truth about Obama; what I discovered there has increasingly become accepted doctrine in the conservative community. The Obama campaign took notice of my criticism.

II. Obama’s long history of attempts to discredit Andy Martin

Obama’s initial retaliation against me took the form of cyber attacks. Later, in October, 2008 Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs went on “Hannity and Colmes” and accused Hannity of being an “anti-Semite” because Hannity had me as a guest on his program (despite George Soros’ relentless attacks on Hannity and me, neither I nor Hannity are anti-Semites; Gibbs’ attack was just another diversionary attack). Obama assets later attacked me in New Hampshire. On September 19th, 2012 Obama & Company may have used The Associated Press to discredit my exposure of Benghazi-gate and my prediction that the murder of American diplomats would doom Obama’s reelection.

Take a look at the facts and look closely at the time-line. Then you be the judge.

III. Andy Martin’s chilling predictions on September 5th

On September 5th I filed a column (links below) accusing Hillary Clinton of “undermining the war on terror” and calling for her resignation. I made my accusation during the same period when Clinton was denying adequate security to her diplomatic staff in Libya. I outlined how Hillary Clinton’s loyalty to the “Clinton Global Initiative” created a conflict with U. S. security interests overseas.

In retrospect, my claim that I sometimes “see over the horizon before our own diplomats do” proved to be tragically accurate a week later.

IV. Andy Martin comes to the defense of Mitt Romney

On September 11th Al Qaeda associates launched a terrorist attack on the U. S. Consulate in Benghazi. The liberal media immediately attacked Governor Mitt Romney for his criticism of the Obama administration’s response to the earlier Cairo "video" demonstrations. Obama & Co., through their media parrots, accused Romney or “undermining” foreign policy. I vigorously defended Romney and said that Benghazi-gate would “doom President Obama to reelection defeat” (links below; read the entire story). I expressly defended Romney against attacks by “Washington Republicans.” I further predicted “Obama's foreign failures are coming crashing down on him just as he runs for reelection at home.”

I focused on the seriousness of the Benghazi attack long before anyone else would step up to defend Governor Romney. Belatedly, everyone is now supporting Romney. But on September 12th Republicans were wringing their hands at Romney's honesty and his forthright criticism of Obama's failed foreign “apology policy.” I defended the governor before it was safe and popular to do so. And I also provided the “first look” into both the political and diplomatic significance of Benghazi-gate.

IV. The Associated Press attempts to undermine Andy Martin

As though acting on cue for the Obama administration, on September 19th The Associated Press mysteriously ran a national story which appeared on every major web site in the United States calling me a “legend in my own mind” and referring to me as a “self-proclaimed Republican foreign policy expert.” There was nothing whatsoever that I had done to justify a national story. The Associated Press distributes stories locally, regionally or nationally based on their importance; a national or “A-Wire” story carries national importance.

What had I done to justify national attention by AP? Well, in the AP’s snide words, “nothing.” I was an “imaginary” expert. Why would AP be covering an “imaginary” and “self-proclaimed” foreign policy analyst? Makes you wonder.

V. Why is Andy different from “Washington Republicans” and liberal media “experts?”

I have not had a conventional career. I started out in politics, segued into political intelligence, was educated as a lawyer and became a foreign policy expert in dangerous places around the world (see listing below). I have a track record of accurate analysis. The liberal media’s “experts” do not. You can check my predictions going back to Iraq in 2003. My views were not popular then. I predicted the ultimate failure of the invasion.

I am a “classic conservative” critic, which means I take a conservative view of life. I am not a conservative weenie who swallows the conservative party line without question. So, instead of having “one” career, I have had several careers, sometimes simultaneously. And, my multiple experiences all provide me with a multi-dimensional or polymathic perspective on each new challenge. That’s why I claim to occasionally “see over the horizon.” Been there, done that.

VI. Andy against exposes Obama’s chaos in the Middle East

On September 23rd I again analyzed the growing chaos in Obama’s foreign policy (links blow), calling the “Libya-video” story a “canard” and again calling for Hillary Clinton’s resignation. Here is part of what I said on September 23rd:

“With every passing day the Benghazi disaster and the murder of our ambassador becomes the most serious foreign policy fiasco since Jimmy Carter’s Iran hostage crisis. Hillary Clinton has appointed a ‘committee’ to study her own incompetence. Wow.

“Obama’s U. N. ambassador claimed the Libya attack was due to a ‘video.’ Obama’s news secretary repeated the ‘video’ canard. President Obama went on Univision and said he ‘didn’t have all the facts,’ which is a form of paranoid schizophrenic defense mechanism.

VII. The bottom line: Obama lied; Andy exposed the truth

In retrospect it all looks so orderly. I predicted on September 5th Clinton was “endangering” Americans. On September 12th I defended Mitt Romney after the consulate attack. On September 19th The Associated Press mysteriously published a national story saying I was an imaginary expert and specifically referencing my own news story of September 12. On September 23rd I made new predictions which have been validated by subsequent events.

I am writing this column for two reasons: First, I would like to defend my own national security and foreign policy credentials as compared with those of other media that lack my experience in the real world. Second, the events of the past month reflect how the national media relentlessly seek to discredit and undermine critics of President Obama by ridiculing their qualifications and experience. Maybe that’s why Barack Obama’s own operatives have been using the media to attack me for the past several years. They are afraid of the truth, and they are afraid of me. You be the judge. (This should be the end of the story.)

OK, a column based on accurate predictions should make another prediction. Lawyers have an old rubric about clients that don’t pay their bills. The saying goes, “Clients should never refuse to pay either their lawyers or their accountants. They could run into “problems.” Here’s the prediction: Presidents and vice presidents should never dump on their diplomats and intelligence agencies. They could run into “problems.” Obama’s attempt to blame the clandestine services for his own failures in Libya will boomerang and backfire.

The Balsams and Barack Obama: Andy Martin responds to the Associated Press

Earlier today, September 19, 2012, The Associated press disseminated a national story concerning New Hampshire corruption-fighter and Internet Powerhouse Andy Martin. Rather than quibble with The Associated Press about several small factual errors, Andy herewith presents his response to the AP story. Andy recognizes that The AP has a right to its own opinions, and he has a right to “own” the facts. You be the  judge which is more colorful and accurate, the “opinions” or the “facts.” Andy has not requested either a retraction or correction from the AP since the errors are not substantial and the opinions expressed are opinions, not facts. He has suggested that the incorrect web site inserted in the story may be corrected if the AP desires to do so. Andy’s efforts to “Save the Balsams” have become a latter-day “Civil Action,” (link below) as he struggles against a corrupt legal system and to protect the rights of workers. New Hampshire corruption-fighter Andy Martin responds to The Associated Press

(Manchester, NH) (September 19, 2012) 

Dear Reader:

Earlier today the Associated Press disseminated a national story which is focused on (1) my efforts to save New Hampshire’s historic hotel “The Balsams,” and (2) my efforts to defeat President Barack Obama for reelection. The AP article is an entertaining opinion piece and I have no plans to ask for a retraction or correction. Opinions are protected under the Constitution.

The AP, however, did get the link to one of my web sites wrong. I have suggested to AP they might want to correct their own error (the fact that AP could not copy a correct web site off the Internet shows you just how easily errors find their way into modern journalism)(there is a link below to the correct web site address for my committee).

The AP writer and I did speak for 90 minutes and the article represents her opinions. I respect her right to her opinions and my own remarks which follow are merely an attempt to provide some factual context for the AP’s opinions. There are links below to the story.

The AP attempts to create some confusion about my name. There is nothing sinister or suspicious about my family name, which is part of a noble family tradition in Malta. My grandfather’s name was “Martin.” My paternal grandmother’s name was Trigona. Because my grandmother came from the Trigona family of Malta, which holds a title of minor nobility, my grandparents combined their names as is the British custom. When my grandmother died, my dad and I dropped the Trigona portion from my last name as it was superfluous. When my grandmother was alive, out of respect for her we hyphenated her name with my grandfather’s. When she died, her last name died with her.

The AP refers to me as a “legend in my own mind.” That is simply not the case. Barack Obama and his henchmen credit me with creating the anti-Obama movement; I can provide links on request. Obama’s antipathy is not a figment of my imagination. The suspicions which over 100 million Americans harbor about Obama are not “self-proclaimed.”

On the issue of who created the “Birther” movement, I don't think anyone would claim it is my “opinion” that I originated the doubts about Obama. Since then I have effaced myself from the more extreme claims of others. But my own factual allegations about Obama’ origins and personal history have never been impeached by Barack Obama or anyone else. My scholarly reputation and professional integrity are intact.

In Chicago, I helped send crooked politicians to federal prison. I am sure the criminals would not consider their incarceration imaginary or “self-proclaimed.”

During the 2008 presidential campaign someone called me the “Internet Powerhouse” because my work primarily appears on the Inherent, and yet my views have had incredible influence across print, broadcast and internet media platforms.

As for my foreign policy expertise, I have a large body of published work going back to 1967. Just check out my recent columns for a listing of the countries where I have been and when. You can judge for yourself whether I have been right or wrong on the big issues or whether I am a self-proclaimed expert.

The AP story refers to some criticism of me from a federal appeals court. As a general matter, federal judges do not like me because I constantly expose their arrogance and corruption. So I am usually criticized when I bring the truth to light. Judges don’t like that.

Judges who are embarrassed by litigants are particularly prone to abuse their public trust by attacking those who expose the perfidiousness of the judicial system. As for my attacks on Barack Obama, yes, I was in fact the originator of the movement to make Obama a “one-term president.” On September 25h I will land in Honolulu to continue my investigations into President Obama's family history. I graduated from law school in 1969, not 1973 as the AP reports. I was a law student researcher in the investigative reporting that forced the resignation of two Illinois Supreme Court justices. The justices were not happy to resign. Before I even graduated from law school they promised to attack my professional career.

Both the late U.S. Senators Paul Simon and Paul Douglas petitioned the Illinois Supreme Court on my behalf after the Court attacked me. Simon and Douglas are liberal icons but they defended me for exposing corruption in Illinois politics (Simon himself was censured by the Illinois Senate for exposing corruption in that body). Simon and Douglas were two of the most ethical people to ever serve in public office.

The AP quotes from a malignant Illinois Supreme Court opinion that was intended to intimidate me, and failed. You can go to my web site and see the standard certificate of appreciation I received for my Cold War service. (www.AndyMartin.com). The article does not mention I hold an Honorable Discharge from the USAFR. The attempt to discredit me was a tawdry episode in the history of the Illinois Supreme Court.

The AP accuses me of filing lawsuits “laced with anti-Semitic vitriol." That is simply untrue. In 1980-1984 I was the victim of a criminal attack originating in the bankruptcy court in Connecticut. I filed a lawsuit using a legal theory that stated religious bigotry by a Jewish attorney could be litigated as a civil rights claim.

As often happens in hotly contested court cases, nasty remarks were made on all sides by all participants. But no one ever impeached the evidence I produced to show corruption in the federal court.

Two federal judges lost their opportunity to be appointed to the Supreme Court because of their corrupt activity in the case involving me. That’s how high the stakes were, and why the feelings ran so high on all sides. My attorney at that time (1983) is available to confirm these claims. Just ask me for his name and phone number.

In an unrelated case the U. S. Supreme Court later upheld my civil rights theory against the bigoted lawyers, Shaare Tefila Congregation v. Cobb, 481 U.S. 615 (1987). How could a legal theory that was upheld by the U. S. Supreme court be “anti-Semitic?" Few people have done as much as I have to combat anti-Semitism. It is despicable that the Manchester Union Leader and the AP continue to distort the facts and to repeat this obscene and unfounded allegation.

What AP does not tell its readers is that Judge Jose “Cocaine” Cabranes had his personal divorce attorney appearing in court before him in my case. When I exposed Cabranes and embarrassed him, the judge exploded. Cabranes was a cocaine addict who may have killed one of his paramours with a cocaine overdose (Cabranes was a serial philanderer on the Yale campus).

Cabranes and another federal judge, Jon O. Newman, were candidates for appointment to the U. S. Supreme Court. After I turned my facts over to the White House and FBI, both Cabranes’ and Jon O. Newman’s careers were effectively ended and they were denied promotion to the Supreme Court. Cabranes and Newman are obviously bitter at the way I destroyed their careers.

AP refers to an attack launched on me by a perverted Chicago Tribune reporter, Rick Pearson, after I published “rumors” about U. S. Senate candidate Mark Kirk's homosexuality. My “rumor” claim was based on audio tapes which had actually been posted on the Internet by someone else (not me), and were there to be listened to by anyone. Later, homosexual activist Mike Rogers “outed” Mark Kirk as a homosexual (link below) so once again my research proved 100% correct. Kirk was recently listed as one of the most corrupt members of congress. Once again, my factual allegations were entirety accurate. Chicago media didn’t want to read or hear the truth about Kirk because media were lying to Illinois voters about Kirk's record and closeted personal life. So the media attacked me and tried to deny the facts and the truth. Are you surprised?

When fighting “city hall,” or “courthouse gangs,” or arrogant federal judges, winning cases is never easy. But I have done very well in a career overwhelmingly dedicated to public service.

My next effort: I am hoping to be invited to help the victims of Bain Capital in Freeport, Illinois. I am sure Bain Capital won’t like that. Bain Capital is apparently trying to export Illinois jobs to China.

I continue to be an enthusiastic supporter of Governor Mitt Romney for President and in a few days will be announcing the formation of “Romney’s Rangers” to help elect Mr. Romney to the presidency. We will be “riding to the rescue” in New Hampshire and Nevada and anywhere else we are invited.

I hope you will find the foregoing facts informative, since I base my response to the AP on objective facts and truth, not on opinions. But I also want to repeat that I respect AP’s right to be wrong. Reporters are entitled to their opinions, however erroneous their opinions may be.

The AP did quote me correctly: I am the “new sheriff in town.” If you don’t believe me, just ask the crooks that are trying to steal The Balsams.

I am very proud of my both legal career and foreign policy career and I am always disappointed when the facts and the truth are distorted. I have chosen to focus my career on fighting a war against the toxic environment in our judicial system. Corrupt judges and lawyers are a much greater threat to America than wayward chemicals.

Internet Powerhouse says Eric Massa is probably gay, and certainly acts nutty. But like a fool in a Shakespearean play, Massa’s claims may actually be closer to the truth than we realize or the Washington media will admit. After all, we know there are homosexuals on Capitol Hill, Martin says. It is illogical to believe they are not equally distributed throughout Washington’s media establishment. For example, the Associated Press assigned an apparently gay reporter to cover Mark Kirk’s U. S. Senate campaign. Martin predicts we have not seen the last of homosexual scandals in the 2010 election cycle.

(NEW YORK)(March 11, 2010) Republicans have been chortling about resigned Congressman Eric Massa’s sexual shenanigans on Capitol Hill. They better look in the mirror.

Massa resigned this week. But it is only after Massa’s resignation that we learned that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi covered up allegations of sexual shenanigans in Massa’s congressional office. Massa's claim that he was "railroaded" may not be as ridiculous as it initially appears. Democrats were engaged in a Republican-style cover-up, until Massa imploded. Interestingly, it was only after Massa left office that the much deeper homosexuality of Massa’s behavior and Speaker Pelosi’s months-earlier knowledge of the scandal became public.

Massa’s behavior, and his accusations White House Chief-of-Staff Rahm Emanuel are more significant than the mainstream media have reported this week.

During the recent Illinois U.S. Senate primary campaign, where I was a candidate, I exposed in Illinois what is widespread knowledge on Capitol Hill: the eventual winner of the primary, Mark Kirk, is a homosexual. The news media responded with attacks on me for telling the truth and exposing the facts about Kirk. Even more interesting, ordinary Republicans did not want to know the truth.

Ironically, the most honest discussion of Kirk’s homosexual appeared in the homosexual media. In a parallel situation to use of the “N-word,” which only African-Americans can use, it appears that only homosexuals are allowed to speak honestly and openly about homosexuality in politics and American life. All others must remain closeted.

Knowledge of Kirk’s homosexuality was widespread in Washington and among Illinois political activists. Only Republican voters had no idea what was going on. And my experience shows they didn't want to know. They were not particularly happy when I became them messenger of the unwelcome truth. I paid a price for truth-telling. But at least I did tell the truth. Which is why I am probably a better writer than politician.

So how are Kirk, Massa and Emanuel connected?

First, Kirk was part of the homosexual colony in House Speaker Dennis Hastert’s office that undermined the Republican Party and helped defeat President George Bush's agenda. I have yet to write the definitive analysis of the Hastert-Kirk-Mark Foley scandal, but I will.

Second, during the Kirk imbroglio, one of the homosexual connections that surfaced was the rumor that Rahm Emanuel was gay.

Although Massa has been seen as a nut case, and his overall behavior is nutty, the evidence of his closeted homosexuality is increasingly evident after the fact. His accusations involving Emanuel may not be as outrageous as they initially appear.

Massa made what on the surface appear to be bizarre allegations against Emanuel. Until you connect the Kirk-Emanuel gossip to Massa. Then “Massa-Emanuel” becomes clearer.

Most of us would not be running around naked in a gym locker room trying to initiate conversations on public policy? So why is Emanuel’s alleged behavior consistent with prior rumors? Emanuel obviously was familiar with the stories abut Massa being gay. Thus, Emanuel’s “naked” approach to Massa was not out of character. He knew Massa was gay, and he was making a “naked” appeal to Massa. For Emanuel the congressional gym had become a gay bathhouse. Massa was not making crackpot accusations about Emanuel’s behavior; he was telling the truth.

So where do we go from here? First, Pelosi’s cover-up has now become public knowledge after Massa left office:

If Pelosi knew, Emmanuel knew. That’s why Emmanuel was running around naked in front of Massa and getting “in his chest.” Emmanuel was obviously aware of the homosexual culture on Capitol Hill, even if he wasn’t a part of it.

Second, before Republicans celebrate the Democratic embarrassment created by Massa’s sexual shenanigans, they should contemplate the time bomb that will probably explode later this year during the campaign season: Mark Kirk’s homosexuality.

The bottom line: we still can’t discuss homosexuality honestly in our politics. Ordinary Republicans mostly “don’t want to know” about homosexuality in the Republican Party. They prefer to pretend it doesn’t exist. At least not before it explodes into a political scandal they can't avoid.

The media? You be the judge. Eric Massa? He may have exposed a deeper vein of homosexuality in the Democratic Party, running all the way into the Obama White House, than readers and viewers have been lead to believe. Like Shakespeare’s "fools" that tell us the truth, Massa may have been a fool who spoke truth without our realizing it.
