National corruption fighter Andy Martin will hold a Chicago news conference today, Wednesday, August 12th to announce he has offered to challenge Senator Mark Kirk if Illinois conservatives can raise a campaign fund to defray the cost of getting Andy’s name on the primary ballot. Andy was already in Chicago standing by for the latest Kirk financial scandal to appear in the media (link below). Kirk has been accused of violating federal campaign finance laws and could be fined or prosecuted and go to jail. “Because I have already run against Kirk, and I have a track record of exposing his lies and telling the truth, I can mount an effective opposition where a rookie opponent cannot,” Andy says. “I am not anxious to run, as my letter explains, but I sincerely believe it would be an insult to the People of Illinois for Republicans to support and renominate Kirk for reelection. Hint: it is only going to get worse for him and, therefore, worse for the Illinois Republican Party. Dear Illinois Republican/conservative:

I am writing to you about the continuing scandals involving U. S. Senator Mark Kirk. Kirk’s latest financial shenanigans are major news today. But Kirk has had shady dealings his entire life.

I left Illinois five years ago to live in New Hampshire. But at the time I promised Illinoisans I would not abandon my anti-corruption efforts and we continue to do our best to beat back the relentless flood tide of corruption and political perfidiousness in this state.

Later this week I will be in Washington, DC for a three-day series of events in which I announce my national plans. You will be receiving updates for all of the events and if you happen to be in the DC area, by all means stop by.

Two days ago I announced my efforts to block corruption at the University of Illinois. In my news release at the time I stated I was in Chicago for “another corruption investigation.” Now you know what it was/is: the Mark Kirk campaign finance and criminal fraud imbroglio. I was tipped off in advance. (See link below in Links section.)

Let me get to the point. Because of my national plans and national base in New Hampshire, I have no plans to run against Kirk in the 2016 primary. But, because of a quirk in the U. S. Constitution, I do not need to be a citizen of Illinois to challenge Kirk in the primary (I need to be a citizen of the state if I am actually elected to office). So I could run against him as part of my national anti-corruption campaign.

To date, Illinois conservatives have not taken any serious steps to challenge Kirk. However, if any one or some of you want to organize and raise a campaign fund of $25,000 to cover the costs of ballot access in the primary, I will accept the call and come back to file against Kirk in the primary.

A U. S. Senate candidate can’t be a rookie. Senate candidates need extensive national and international experience, as well as prior statewide campaign experience. At present, there is no experienced opposition to Kirk, which is why I am making this offer. Joe Walsh, for example, has dithered for months as to whether he might, or might not, run against Kirk. If someone is seriously going to file against Kirk in the primary, they need to start running now, or as soon as a ballot access campaign fund can be raised in my case.

My preference would be for someone who is both experienced and based in Illinois to tackle Kirk. But if no one is willing to step forward to present the case against Kirk, if any of you want to collect the funds necessary to get my name on the ballot I will take on that campaign as part of my overall national operation.

Here is why Kirk must be challenged:

1. Kirk obtained his office by fraud

In 2009-2010 I explained how Kirk was lying about his military background. I also exposed the media cover-up. Kirk told the media about imaginary battles where he had come under attack (all delusional, and all before his stroke). My original web site is still available, and the Pentagon letter is still posted there (see www.MarkKirk.us and scroll down). On the web site I accused Kirk of inflating his military record and documented my charge with a Navy document. What happened? A media covr-up of Kirk’s lies?

While the media lied to you before the primary, the truth emerged after the primary: Kirk was a military fraud who claimed imaginary roles, nonexistent positions and faux military awards. Kirk was a Walter Mitty “warrior.” The media had lied to the people of Illinois; I had told the truth. (Surprise.) If the truth had come out before the primary, there is a serious doubt whether Republicans would have nominated a military fraud as their candidate.

2. Kirk is not physically able to serve as a senator

Kirk is disabled. There is no shame in being ill or growing old. It happens to every last one of us. But being a senator is a physically demanding job. The job of a senator is also mentally demanding. Kirk cannot even speak properly at committee hearings. He has become a mannequin for his staff members to manipulate. As for his apparently former Cameroonian man-servant (see Tribune story), what can I say (see link below)? Even in the choice of a personal attendant Kirk showed manifest bad judgment; he chose a career criminal.

Kirk can’t walk and he can’t talk. That is the truth. Kirk’s “recovery” has probably reached its maximum. I am sorry for his illness but I do not need to apologize for raising the obvious fact Kirk can’t care for himself (see Tribune story link below about the Cameroonian man-servant and swindler). Kirk is a growing embarrassment in Washington and he will now come under more intensive criminal investigation.

3. Kirk is still lying about his military record

After Kirk was elected he probably thought his military fraud was “laundered” by the 2010 election and his earlier lies would be forgotten. With Kirk, lying about himself approaches a psychological illness completely apart from his physical ailments. Soon after being elected, Kirk started inflating and exaggerating his military credentials again. I am keeping a file of Kirk’s latest military lies.

4. With all due respect, Governor Rauner is wrong

Governor Rauner is supporting Kirk for reelection. Governor Rauner is wrong. As you are probably aware, I would not be afraid to stand up to Rauner, but I am not going to pick a fight with him gratuitously either. But Rauner is dead wrong. Kirk will be a massive burden for the entire ticket. Seeing Republicans run a disabled man as their best choice is going to make the entire Republican Party look weak and disabled.

Kirk’s latest financial shenanigans, using campaign funds to pay for personal expenses, have landed many politicians in jail. He has now been exposed (link below) and the latest disclosures put an end to his prospects. Why run a “dead man walking” in a live campaign? It makes no sense. I know how Mayor Daley “the First” would have resolved the Kirk problem; I know how Rauner should resolve the matter. But running Kirk for reelection is suicidal.

5. Bottom line

There you have it. If you can find a better candidate, by all mean please do. I am not anxious to be distracted. But I also feel a sense of loyalty to Republicans, and to the People of Illinois; Kirk should not be renominated by default. You deserve better than a severely mismanaged and seriously misdirected Republican Party leadership. If someone wants to raise $25,000 in advance as a ballot access fund, I will get the petitions printed and stand in line to file them. If not, I love all of you and love this state and love my University of Illinois and will be happy with whatever you decide or don’t decide. If you need me or need my assistance, I will not abandon you and will do what I can to help. If not, have at it.

(Chicago) (January 26, 2014)  Andy Martin will hold a telephone news conference Monday, January 27^th to discuss whether the Chicago Tribune is trying to soft-pedal corporate murder by Illinois gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner.

“I believe the charge of ‘corporate murderer’ can legitimately be made against Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner,” Andy says. “I have had a series of articles on Rauner in preparation for several months; but a story which was issued by Republican News Watch (link below) caught my attention. The Chicago Tribune’s soft-pedal response to the Republican News Watch story confirmed my suspicions: Illinois media are ignoring serious evidence of ‘corporate murder’ by Bruce Rauner and his financial cronies (see Tribune story link below).

1. Corporate murder during the 2012 presidential campaign

“During the 2012 presidential campaign Barack Obama’s mudslingers accused Mitt Romney of corporate murder. Obama’s minions alleged, in a powerful TV ad and relentless cable TV appearances, that Romney's closure of a plant had led to the death of a worker’s wife and that Romney was guilty of her murder.

“The murder charge was totally bogus. The wife had died long after the plant closed, and the wife had access to ongoing health insurance through her own job. Nevertheless, Romney never really rebutted Obama’s malignant accusations; the false impression that Mitt Romney's greed was killing his employees lingered to Election Day.

“While the corporate murder charges against Romney were both false and unfair, I believe that a fair-minded review of the evidence confirms that accusations of corporate murder against Bruce Rauner have a legitimate basis.

2. The basis for accusing Rauner of corporate murder

A. Why accusations of murder against Rauner’s murder are different

“In Mitt Romney’s case, the accusation of corporate murder was based on indirect causation. Democrats charged that a plant closure had led to cancellation of health insurance, and the loss of insurance had precipitated a death many years later. The facts did not support the claims against Romney.

B. Rauner was personally responsible for the operation of his business

“Public figures and politicians who take ‘personal reasonability’ for their incompetence, from Hillary Clinton all the way down to local jerks, have become a colossal bore. When they take ‘personal responsibility’ they are usually trying to evade actual responsibility. Rauner’s case of corporate murder represents a classic situation where the corporate murderer tries to shift blame for his greed to third parties.

“In business, when you are an owner or execute of a business you are legally responsible for all aspects of your business. As the Tribune admits, ‘Rauner, however, was GTCR’s chairman when it moved into the nursing home business…as well as when the health care firm put itself into receivership 11 years later…’ He was a chief executive and owner of the nursing home firm’s parent company.

3. How Rauner ran his nursing home business

A. The day-to-day operations of Rauner’s nursing homes

“Any business needs workers and supplies to operate properly. In the case of manufacturing businesses, lack of adequate safety precautions on the plant floor that lead to employee deaths can support charges of criminal negligence. If employees are deprived of the proper tools and proper supplies to perform their duties, management is guilty.

“Rauner’s culpability is much more serious than that of an ordinary business executive. Most businesses produce goods or services that a customer can accept or reject. No one has to go into a dirty place of business or purchase a defective product. But nursing home residents are often helpless senior citizens who can’t care for their basic needs (which is why they are in a nursing home); they are extremely vulnerable to abuse and neglect. Nursing home patients can’t simply pick up and walk out. Increasingly today, many patients are held in locked areas because of their progressive Alzheimer’s deterioration.

“By demanding excessive profits and depriving his employees of the essential resources – supplies and employees – to properly run his business, Rauner created conditions where care was denied and where it was inevitable that patients would eventually die from neglect and abuse. The consequences of Rauner’s greed were completely foreseeable and predictable: patient deaths.

B. The massive financial corruption of Rauner’s business

“Rauner is part of a class of business people today that are little more than ‘white collar’ criminals. Rauner & Co. call themselves ‘private equity’ operators. In most instances ‘private equity’ does not amount to building and investing in a business. ‘Private equity’ involves stealing value from public stockholders and then cutting costs to the point of running the business into the ground. That was Rauner’s method.

“Rauner not only stole from his nursing home patients he also stole from employees and other suppliers by putting his businesses into receivership and bankruptcy. Why would anyone, least of all a ‘conservative’ Republican, vote for a corporate scam artist as a gubernatorial candidate?

“Rauner’s creation of corporate shell entities to insulate his assets and personal wealth from his creditors represents a pattern of fraudulent conveyances which are illegal under federal law and can lead to criminal charges (we’ll be working to see Rauner is indicted). The Tribune story slides right over the impact of Rauner’s Mafia-style mismanagement. The Tribune’s reporters had no concept of fraudulent conveyances and did not consult a newspaper lawyer wile preparing their story.

4. Rauner’s excuses as presented by the Chicago Tribune

“Rauner’s mouthpiece Mike Schrimf makes two very predictable defenses. First, Schrimf says Rauner ‘had nothing to do with the management of the nursing home company…’ when Rauner was the chief executive of the corporate parent. That’s nonsense. A privately-owned corporate parent is almost always liable for the misdeeds of its subsidiaries, particularly in cases such as Rauner’s where debt is used to create a pyramid scheme.

“Second, Schrimf rolls out the typical Republican response that ‘trial lawyers’ are behind Rauner’s problems. No, Mr. Rauner, like Benghazi, real people died in your nursing homes.

“Mr. Rauner, your corruption and mismanagement led to real deaths. Senior citizens were slaughtered through the abuse and neglect of your employees while you were the corporate chief. “Mr. Rauner used his business enterprises to enrich himself; he brought about the deaths of helpless senior citizens in the process.

“The Tribune tries to suggest that a Rauner opponent, State Senator Kirk Dillard, ‘cribbed’ the nursing home story from an ‘anti-Rauner blogger.’ The original blog story was based on facts, evidence, court records and links to local news stories in the areas where the helpless patients of Mr. Rauner had been butchered by Rauner’s employees. Senator Dillard did not ‘crib’ anything. Dillard merely commented on the facts and the evidence. The Tribune’s attempt to use derisive language towards Dillard, and to minimize Rauner’s corruption and greed, is a despicable media cover-up.

“Just as Hillary Clinton continues to be dogged by evidence of corruption and mismanagement because of her State Department’s response to Benghazi, Mr. Rauner cannot escape liability and responsibility for the blood on his hands from the dead patients who were butchered under his corporate leadership and management.

“Unlike Mitt Romney, Mr. Rauner is a genuine corporate murderer,” Andy says. “Rauner did not stick a poison needle in his patients, but he deprived them of medical care and allowed them to die horrible deaths from neglect and abuse. Many prosecutors would agree that Rauner’s egregious level of negligence and greed, and Rauner’s gross mismanagement of human beings under his care, amount to criminal negligence. Rauner is criminally liable for the deaths of his patients. Mr. Rauner used his corporate entities as instruments of death,” Andy charges.

Andy Martin news conference demands that the Chicago Tribune fire Rick Pearson; a court hearing is set

Pearson, whom Andy calls a “potential highway killer.” Andy has written about Rick Pearson’s bizarre and abusive behavior, and sometimes called Pearson’s demeanor similar to that of a child abuser. “I was mistaken,” Andy says. “And I apologize. Pearson’s ‘character’ and his creepy behavior are due to his alcoholism. Pearson’s biased journalism is also infected by his alcoholism. The idea that alcoholics simply ‘blow off’ or ignore their alcoholism when they are in the workplace is not born out by the evidence. More importantly, Pearson’s offense - driving the wrong way down a one-way street - is potentially one of the most dangerous examples of alcoholic endangerment. Because Pearson was acting within the scope of his employment, the Tribune Company is liable for and is an enabler of Pearson’s alcoholism. It is time for Chicago media management to take alcoholism seriously and to stop coddling drunken reporters and writers,” Andy will state at his news conference later today. A court hearing is scheduled Thursday June 6th at 2:00 P.M. in Martin v. Pearson, Room 2302 of the Daley Center.

“The Chicago Tribune is responsible for putting a potential killer on Illinois highways,” Andy will charge later today. “Rick Pearson, who has a longstanding alcoholism problem, has been allowed to drive on Illinois’ streets and highways while officially acting for the Chicago Tribune.



“I first experienced Rick Pearson’s bizarre behavior exactly a decade ago, when he sent me an irrational email. Over the following years I referred to Pearson as someone with the demeanor or mien of a ‘molester.’ For that I now apologize. I realize Pearson has a longstanding alcoholism problem and that is the source of his creepy appearance and behavior.



“The Chicago Tribune has ignored and enabled Pearson’s alcoholism and put Pearson on the state’s highways as a potential - and perhaps inevitable - killer. Today I formally demand that the Chicago Tribune fire killer-in-waiting Rick Pearson.



“I am also asking that Sangamon County officials open an investigation into why an officer claimed the Fifth Amendment in another Pearson prosecution. Do they think Sangamon County is the IRS, where public employees claim the Fifth Amendment? If we do not get proper answers I will follow up with a request to the U. S. Attorney to investigate whether Sangamon County officials or The Tribune Company or others, engaged in obstruction of justice to protect Pearson from prosecution. I will not allow a cover-up of Pearson’s current criminal behavior in Springfield (link below).



“May 31st Pearson was driving the wrong way down a one-way street and was arrested for DUI. Alcoholics who drive the wrong way on streets and highways are perhaps the most dangerous form of vehicular killers.



“Because Pearson was acting within the scope of his employment while present in Springfield, the ‘bankrupt’ Chicago Tribune was legally responsible for Pearson’s criminal behavior. If Pearson has killed or maimed someone, Tribune owners would have been fully liable. Have Tribune attorneys considered these facts?



“For decades Chicago media have treated serious alcoholism as a joke. I often saw Mike Royko drunken and incoherent. Neil Steinberg wrote a book about his alcoholic exploits (link below). Alcoholics are public enemies. They kill on public streets and highways. Alcoholism is not a joke. Because the Chicago Tribune knowingly placed an alcoholic on Illinois streets and highways the Tribune created a clear and present danger of vehicular homicide. How would they report the story if Pearson killed someone?



“It is also true that when an employer ignores and enables alcoholism, the employee becomes emboldened to keep drinking. If you keep drinking, eventually and almost inevitably you will have a serious automobile incident.



“I always thought Pearson’s creepy demeanor was due to a potential molester’s profile. I was mistaken. Pearson’s bizarre behavior, and most likely his biased and malignant journalism, is due to his alcohol problems. Alcoholism is not something you can partition off. An alcoholic sees life and sees the world through a different vision. Pearson’s biased reporting, and his reputed bribe-taking from Republican ‘Combine’ operatives, all are natural permutations of his alcoholism.



“In order to retain its remaining credibility as a media enterprise, the Chicago Tribune has no alternative but to immediately fire Rick Pearson. There is no place in the modern employment world, and particularly no place in the media employment world, for malignant alcoholics such as Mike Royko, Neil Steinberg and Rick Pearson. Alcohol kills, and alcoholics are potential killers every time they get behind the steering wheel of any vehicle,” Andy will charge later today.



The Circuit Court of Cook County has set a Thursday, June 6th 2:00 P.M. hearing in Courtroom 2302 of the Daley Center in Martin v. Pearson. The matter was previously scheduled but Andy is going to ask the court for permission to file an amended complaint adding Pearson’s alcoholism and alcohol-fueled rage against Andy to the list of charges against Pearson and the Tribune Company.

(CHICAGO)(July 26, 2010) Let me start with two basic facts: First, we were all “sixteen” once. Second, Mark Kirk is a pathological liar.

Last Friday the Chicago Tribune carried a story analyzing Mark Kirk’s claim to have almost “drowned” in Lake Michigan:

The Tribune says that:

“Basic elements of Kirk's story are not in dispute. He did capsize his boat, was pulled from the water by the Coast Guard and was taken by ambulance to a hospital. He said any inconsistencies in news accounts or his own words are minor and do not diminish the significance of the traumatic, life-changing experience.”

But the Tribune then goes onto miss the significance of Kirk’s own disclaimer:

“According to news accounts and interviews, Kirk and a friend took Kirk's family Sunfish sailboat, a small craft, out from a Kenilworth beach in the afternoon and quickly ran into trouble keeping the boat upright. After dropping off his friend on a nearby private beach, Kirk went out alone to try to return the sailboat but capsized repeatedly.”

What is critical, and where the Tribune went wrong with its analysis, is that the Tribune failed to appreciate that Kirk rescued himself and his friend, and then voluntarily submitted himself to a life-threatening situation after already being aware of the dangerous situation on the lake.

The anti-Kirk blog (above) reads the “saved friend and then jumped back in the lake” fantasy the same way I do:

“Kirk's story is that he and his friend were out on the lake on the boat when it ran into trouble and Kirk swam the friend to shore, saving his life. Then, Mark went back in the water to return the boat to Kenilworth. If the water was 42 degrees, it seems far less likely Mark would have been willing to go back into the water. He'd have to be highly motivated to do so and more so if the water was that cold.”

So, after “rescuing” his friend, who apparently did not need much rescuing because Kirk immediately abandoned the friend who had just been in the “cold water,” Kirk voluntarily jumped back in the dangerously cold water and voluntarily exposed himself to a life-threatening situation. I call that “teen suicide.”

Mark Kirk is a small man. If he and his friend together could not right the small craft, what logic was there to the belief Kirk alone could right the boat on his own? Kirk suffers from a “Tarzan” complex where, because of his small size, he always has to be doing “big” things.

I now return to my “everyone was once 16” opening. I can say without fear of contradiction that if I had just swum through hundreds of feet of bitterly cold lake water, and if I had the same exposure to lake water as Kirk attributes to his friend, and I had just “rescued” my friend from drowning, I would not jump back in the lake and endanger my life all over again. What sane person would? Even, what 16 year-old?

By his own defense or explanation, Kirk went back into water he already knew to be dangerously cold, and voluntarily subjected himself to the very dramatic conditions he now claims “focused” his life. If engaging in self-destructive and suicidal behavior “focused” Kirk, what kind of focus does the man have?

Kirk, who grew up and graduated from high school in posh Kenilworth, then attended an obscure downstate college for a year, before heading to a left-wing Mexican university to attend college. Hello? Not many Americans in 1978 would have seen going to college at a left-wing Mexican institution as a very logical or rational move, unless---yes, Kirk’s Tarzan complex again--you perceived of yourself as a left-wing “rebel” in search of gay sex. There was certainly much more anti-gay hostility and repression in the 1970’s.

It seems likely that Kirk was wrestling with his homosexuality, and taking impulsive steps in his life because he was frustrated by his inability to understand matters that he did not feel comfortable discussing with family or his tony Kenilworth “friends.” Kirk was engaging in impulsive and self-destructive behavior.

I remember my teenage years reasonably well. As a high school senior I wrote a manuscript that was almost published by St. Martin’s Press. The narrative featured a teen suicide. Other than writing about blowhards such as Kirk, I do not remember engaging in any self-destructive behavior. Teens sometimes do stupid things; but then don’t brag about them as adults. Kirk’s habitual “misremembering” is a serious personality disorder.

Once you boil down Kirk’s “facts” and “defense” to their essence, what do you have: a tiny kid and his friend capsized a boat. They swam to shore, through very cold water. Kirk then jumped back in the lake, knowing the water was dangerously cold, and subjected himself to some risk, all to rescue a small piece of property that could have been easily saved if Kirk called the Coast Guard without any danger or life-threatening drama.

Today we call people like Kirk “Drama Queens.” I don’t know if Kirk is a “Queen,” but I now his drama is all self-inflicted and self-invented. If I had done something as arrogant and just plain stupid as he did, I would not have spent the last decade of my life lying to the public about my own stupidity.

Maybe Kirk’s “drowning” was life-changing, but only when he became a congressional candidate in 1999. He quickly realized how stupid the media were and how gullible the public was, and so he kept inflating his personal life and lying about his military service. Kirk progressively created the imaginary drama and service record that has now been punctured as one of the biggest scandals in American military-political history.

We are still “drowning” in Mark Kirk’s lies. The alleged Lake Michigan “drowning” is just one more of them.

(CHICAGO)(June 4, 2010) Chicago crime fighter and anti-corruption crusader Andy Martin will hold a Palm Beach news conference today, Friday, June 4th to claim credit for ending the political career of military imposter/closeted homosexual Mark Kirk.

“Much as the Chicago Tribune and Sun-Times hate to admit it, I took down Mark Kirk,” Martin will state. “Alexi Giannoulias' campaign used my campaign advertising and research as a starting point, and followed through with their own research. I provided the pointers on both Kirk's sexual misrepresentations and on his inflated military career. I filed a DADT complaint against Kirk. It's all out there on my blogs. Kirk can read it and weep.

“I beat the newspapers at their own game, by telling the truth about Kirk while they were lying to their readers. Lynn Sweet, the Sun-Times hack who appears on MSNBC, was a cheerleader for Kirk; she’s now exposed as a complete loser. Kirk had the temerity to tell the bogus Chicago media at the Union League Club in January that he was in Afghanistan ‘fighting for Andy Martin’s rights:’

“For forty-four years I have been fighting political corruption in Chicago and Illinois politics. The only thanks I have received is a continuing smack in the face from the media. Chicago media have lived a lie for the past half century. Media lies keep crooked Illinois politicians in power. Rick Pearson, a creepy writer at the Chicago Tribune, is a Kirk sycophant. Pearson is now disgraced and exposed for his own corruption.

“I have always worked to find the facts, and searched for the truth, and I did so during the 2009-2010 primary election. But when the truth and facts hit Chicago’s airwaves on December 28th, once again media attacked me for exposing Mark Kirk as one of the greatest frauds in American political history. So far, local media have barely played ‘catch-up’ and only scratched the tip of the iceberg of Kirk’s military fraud. Kirk is 100 times worse than Connecticut’s Richard Blumenthal. Blumenthal lied a few times. Kirk lied about his entire career, for over a decade, over and over again, in his congressional materials, his campaign materials, everywhere and in every aspect of his public career.

“When my senate campaign started broadcasting the facts on December 28th, Chicago’s media morons responded by attacking me for telling the truth about Mark Kirk. What losers. If ever there was an ‘I told you so’ moment in American politics, this is it. I warned Republican voters that they were going to destroy the party if they voted for Kirk, but no one wanted to hear the truth. Well, we have more and more and more ‘truth’ about Mark Kirk to come.

“It’s just beginning.

“Kirk’s military fraud and homosexuality are now jeopardizing the entire statewide and local Illinois Republican ticket. I’ll have more to say about that very shortly.

”Ironically, Channel 7 WLS-TV devoted virtually an entire 90-minute broadcast debate in January to allowing its ‘journalists’ to trash me for running ads telling the truth about Kirk. Channel 7's Andy Shaw and Charles Thomas also owe me an apology. I have a copy of the tape. This is one of the greatest media scandals, and media embarrassments, in recent American media history. The truth was out there in the open, and Chicago media attacked the truth and attacked the truth-teller. Is it any wonder the state of Illinois is dying? That ordinary Illinoisans feel betrayed? In Illinois, the media are as crooked as the politicians.

“Ironically, the only one who paid any attention to me was Alexi Giannoulias. His people were quietly observing my campaign from a distance and taking down everything I disclosed about Kirk. Alexi’s people then did their own additional research and verified the truth of my allegations.

“There is a lesson here for Republicans: pay attention to the truth and the facts. Don’t sweep a candidate’s lies under the carpet and expect to get away with it.

“I promised to take down Mark Kirk, and I have delivered. In my opinion, party loyalty does not extend to promoting political fraud. I support the rest of the Illinois Republican ticket but I will see to it that Mark Kirk is run out of politics.

“There is lots more to come of my anti-Kirk campaign.”
