Andy Martin, a conservative Republican, is leading efforts to defeat Mark Kirk for the U. S. Senate. Martin says Kirk is a disgrace to Illinois, and a disgrace to the Republican Party. Other than Kirk, Martin is (with some reservations) voting a straight Republican ticket. Rather, today I am focused on the hypocrisy of Senator John McCain. McCain seeks to exclude gays from the military and then comes to Illinois to campaign for homosexual Congressman Mark Kirk. Whether you oppose or support the gay agenda, anyone and everyone can be sickened by hypocritical politicians such as Senator John McCain.

Last December 28th I started something of a national firestorm when I disclosed to the public that there were “rumors” that Congressman Mark Kirk was gay:

Lake County Republican Ray True suggested that Kirk was surrounded by a Praetorian Guard-like posse of homosexuals. You can still listen to the tape of the extraordinary program that formed the basis for my campaign advertising [Radio Archive, November 1 2009, Segment Two]:

In June, respected homosexual activist Mike Rogers confirmed my allegations and stated unequivocally that Kirk was a homosexual:

Later, Kirk’s former wife made ambiguous remarks about her former husband’s sexuality. So Jack Roeser was right, and my campaign commercials were based on solid research. Kirk was a proven liar.

Personally, I don’t care what people do in the privacy of their own home. But I passionately believe that public officials should be prepared to make their private lives public when public votes could be influenced by private lives. It is two-faced for public officials to seek publicity from privacy when it serves their political interests, and then seek “privacy please” when a politician is trying to cover his or her tracks.

But Kirk’s lies about his sexuality were only a minor precursor to the disclosure of Kirk’s myriad lies about his military service. Now we know that in addition to being the “Closeted Congressman,” Mark Kirk is the biggest liar in U.S. Navy history. Kirk has lied about every aspect of his military career.

Kirk claimed to have won medals that don’t exist. Kirk lied when he said he had “fought” in wars where he never served. Kirk lied when he said he came under fire in Afghanistan. Kirk lied when he said he came under fire in Iraq. Kirk lied about commanding the War Room in the Pentagon.

How can John McCain proclaim his love of the military service and then back someone such as Kirk who has disgraced the Navy uniform by relentless lying about his imaginary accomplishments?

McCain claims he is coming back to Illinois to support Kirk. Do reports about Kirk’s Navy lies have no effect on McCain? Is McCain senile or just suspending his common sense for political profit when it comes to Mark Kirk?

Politicians wonder why we hate them. John McCain’s Mark Kirk hypocrisy is a classic example of why Congress is held in contempt by the American people.

It matters that Mark Kirk and Aaron Schock are gay because being closeted gay males makes them blackmail candidates for the Left, and that means these men are in office with guns to their heads, doing what the Left wants, and not what voters sent them to do. These should not be men the GOP pushes for high office, because electing them to the Senate is no better than sending a putz of a Democrat there. They will vote the same, but at least having a Democrat in the seat means the GOP won’t have another Lindsey Graham on its hand, to embarrass the party whenever Democrats pull his own gay blackmail strings.

Martin is best known around the world as the “Internet Powerhouse” investigative blogger who has exposed many of Barack Obama’s personal lies. Martin recently returned from his fourth investigative trip to Hawai’i.

Martin created a media firestorm as Chicago media tried to demonize Martin for telling the truth about Kirk. Martin also documented his claims of military fraud concerning Kirk by posting documents on Martin’s own anti-Kirk web site [www.MarkKirk.us] showing Kirk had never served in Afghanistan.

“For forty-four years I have been fighting political corruption in Chicago and Illinois politics. The only thanks I have received is a continuing smack in the face from the media. Chicago media have lived a lie for the past half century. Media lies keep Daley Machine politics in power.

“Mark Kirk was part of the Republican Party’s ‘extension’ of the Daley Machine, an integral cog in what Chicago Tribune columnist John Kass calls the ‘Combine’ that controls and corrupts Illinois politics.

“I have always worked to find the facts, and searched for the truth, and I did so during the 2009-2010 primary election. But when the truth and facts hit Chicago’s airwaves on December 28th, once again media attacked me for exposing Mark Kirk as one of the greatest frauds in American political history. So far, media have played ‘catch-up’ by only scratching the tip of the iceberg of Kirk’s military fraud.

“My senate campaign broadcast the facts, and Chicago’s media morons responded by attacking me for telling the truth about Mark Kirk. What losers. If ever there was an ‘I told you so’ moment in American politics, this is it. I warned Republican voters that they were going to destroy the party if they voted for Kirk, but no one wanted to hear the truth. Well, we have more and more and more ‘truth’ about Mark Kirk to come.

“Kirk’s military fraud and homosexuality are now jeopardizing the entire statewide and local Illinois Republican ticket. I’ll have more to say about that very shortly.

”Ironically, Channel 7 WLS-TV devoted virtually an entire 90-minute broadcast debate to allowing its ‘journalists’ to trash me for running ads telling the truth about Kirk. Channel 7's Andy Shaw and Charles Thomas owe me an apology. I have a copy of the tape. This is one of the greatest media scandals, and media embarrassments, in recent media history. The truth was out there in the open, and Chicago media attacked the truth and attacked the truth-teller. Is it any wonder the state of Illinois is dying? That ordinary Illinoisans feel betrayed?

(NEW YORK)(May 10, 2010) ContrarianCommentary.com’s Executive Editor, Andy Martin, will hold a New York City news conference Monday, May 10th to announce that he will lead opposition to the appointment of Elena Kagan to the U. S. Supreme Court on the basis of Kagan’s gay lifestyle. Earlier this year Martin created a media firestorm in Chicago when he ran broadcast ads exposing Republican Congressman Mark Kirk as someone rumored to be gay.

Martin returned to New York over the weekend after spending two weeks in Hawai’i investigating Barack Obama’s family history and triggering a growing political scandal. Martin’s threatened lawsuit against Republican Governor Linda Lingle caused her to confess on WABC-AM New York that she orchestrated a pro-Obama episode the weekend before the 2008 election.

“The issue isn’t whether Elena Kagan is gay,” Martin says. “I favor extebnsive protection and privacy for every American, whatever their lifestyle. We all know gays and almost all of us, certainly including me, have gay friends or relatives.

“Rather, the question is why is Barack Obama trying to pack the Supreme Court with New York lesbians? Justice Sonia Sotomayor had a secret lifestyle that Republicans were afraid to confront. If senate Republicans capitulate a second time, Obama will have placed two New York lesbians on the Supreme Court and effectively legislated gay marriage by judicial fiat.

“Ms. Kagan is entitled to her private lifestyle as long as she maintains her privacy. But when she seeks confirmation to a lifetime appointment where her personal life will create conflicts of interest on issues where she has to vote, then her homosexuality is an issue. It is inevitable that with Kagan and Sotomayor on the court, gay activists will try to bring gay marriage to the U. S. Supreme Court. They will have two of the four votes they need to secure review.

“There are other reasons to oppose Kagan: she is a sworn enemy of our armed forces. She voted to exclude them from the privileged corridors of Harvard, accusing the military of ‘moral injustice.’ We live in a hypocritical nation where wealthy Harvard-types expect poor Americans to defend persons of privilege. Kagan banned the military from recruiting at Harvard Law School. Her arrogance and contempt for ordinary Americans is palpable.

“Obama is trying to provoke a national debate over homosexuality, and he is doing so at a time and in a place, the U. S. Senate, where political toadies in both parties have shown they are afraid to stand up for national values. Homosexual marriage has been voted down wherever it has been placed on the ballot. If Kagan is confirmed Americans will become hostages of federal judges who seek to rule and ruin this nation by creating and enforcing imaginary constitutional rights. Kagan is just another foot soldier in that ‘army.’

“Kagan is also an Obama crony. Kagan may be called to vote on whether Obama is a ‘natural born citizen’ or precisely what that phrase actually means. She could become a dangerous instrumentality of Obama oppression.

“Isn’t there one lawyer in the entire nation that Obama could find outside the Harvard-Yale axis to appoint to the Supreme Court? Not one? Only New York lesbians need apply? Obama’s fixation, even obsession, with lesbians says something about the man himself that needs further media exploration. There are many qualified women he could appoint to the Supreme Court; he always chooses lesbians. Bizarre.

“Any Democrat that votes to put Kagan on the Supreme Court will be signing their own political death warrant. Defeat at the polls will be inevitable. Obama’s increasing unpopularity will continue to grow as his latest gambit to rule from the fringes of American society is recognized for what it is. But perhaps that is no surprise. Obama himself comes from the fringe. He had only tenuous ties to this country when he was born. He was schooled to hate America. Obama conned the American people in 2008 and they are now paying the horrible price.

“But Obama never conned me.

“It is time for U.S. Senators to stop ‘Obama’s Revenge’ on America in its tracks and defeat the nomination of Elena Kagan,” Martin will state.

Ironically, Martin led the opposition to Judge John Paul Stevens 35 years ago, during Stevens’ own confirmation battle. Martin exposed Stevens’ earlier links to hoodlum politicians in Chicago.
